A beautiful, fully furnished one-bedroom apartment with a spacious outdoor seating area and a shared swimming pool, located in the popular neighborhood of Jan Thiel, Curaçao.

It is wonderfully windy in an enclosed mini-resort about 3 minutes away from the popular beach Jan Thiel (Zanzibar) caracas bay, various dive sites and about 7 minutes from Mambo beach near the Sea Aquarium.

Jan Thiel is known for its perfect location. Bordering the protected nature and hiking reserve, home to many flamingos, the salt pans on one side and the Caribbean ocean and the Spanish water lagoon on the other. You can enjoy the great outdoors for hours during a nice walk or on a mountain bike.

Jan Thiel offers the public Caracasbaai Beach, beach clubs Papagayo and Zanzibar, several supermarkets, shops, a health and fitness club, several restaurants, a casino and entertainment destinations.

There are several marinas nearby, where you can rent a boat or take part in a windsurfing or wakeboarding lesson. Finally, the diving and snorkeling is great!

In short, something for everyone.

The beautiful apartment itself is located next to the nature reserve on a very quiet cul-de-sac just minutes away from all the action. This way you can combine the best of both worlds. It's hard not to fall in love with this location and the island!

We have also both been giving diving lessons for almost 20 years.

Have you always secretly wondered what that magical underwater world looks like? Have you always wanted to float weightlessly in the clear blue water? Are you fascinated by colorful fish, sponges and corals? But do you keep coming up with a reason not to go diving? Maybe because it seems a bit (well, very) scary? Maybe you haven't dived in a long time and it seems like a good idea to freshen up? Or do you just want to do a follow-up course or just a fun dive?

It's all possible, in small groups, at a leisurely (holiday) pace and in a safe environment!

We are Chris & Rosanne.

Chris was born on Curacao and Roos has been living here for more than 20 years! We know the island like the back of our hand!
We both give diving lessons, love to travel and like to introduce people to our beautiful island. Both above and underwater, we can let you experience the best places!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Long term stay:
Our property is also available for longer term (more than 4 weeks).
Contact us for special prices and discounts.

Cancellation
Full refund if cancelled up to 30 days before arrival.
If you book less than 30 days before arrival, you will be given a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before arrival.
After that, you will receive a 50% refund for cancellations up to seven days before arrival.
If you wait any longer, you will not receive a refund.

Water and electricity
Water and electricity are relatively expensive on the island and harmful to the environment. Keep this in mind when using air conditioners and water. Always close the windows when the air conditioning is on and turn it off when you are not there.

You should take into account, with average consumption, approximately Eur. 10,- to Eur. 15,- per day, depending on the number of people and number of hours of use of the air conditioning(s) This will be deducted from the deposit at the end of your holiday.

Half-time
Since the apartment where you are going to stay is located in a small and quiet resort, which is also available for long-term rental, we kindly ask you to take this into account. Consider, for example, respecting the "quiet hours" (22.00-08.00) and the opening hours of the communal swimming pool (08.00-20.00), which is only accessible to guests of the resort.

Check in / check out
You can enter the house from 15.00pm and no later than 11.00am you must leave it on the day of departure.
If desired, a "late check-out" (no later than 15.00pm) is possible for a fee of 35 Euro.
This in consultation and if possible in combination with new bookings.
