It is a unique place to enjoy a carefree holiday. The large garden with its tall trees provides a lot of privacy and the covered terraces, also by the pool, provide plenty of shade. The house is located on a fully fenced plot of over 1,120m2. The car can be parked inside the fence on the property.
Grote Berg is a quiet and cozy neighborhood with a central location on the island, which means that you will be on the most beautiful beaches of Curaçao in no time. Willemstad is only fifteen minutes away.
With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the house is very suitable for two to seven people. By placing a folding bed and a stable cot, a total of 7 adults and a baby can easily be accommodated in the spacious rooms.
The ever-present wind contributes to a pleasant living environment in the house and two bedrooms are well located on the wind with windows on both sides so that you do not need air conditioning. The wind blows in wonderfully and in the morning you will be woken up by the song of tropical birds. The third bedroom has direct access to the outside on the fenced side porch through the bathroom. All windows and exterior doors are equipped with mosquito nets so that you will not be bothered by mosquitoes. There is a strong mobile parking fan that you can place anywhere in the house or on the terrace.
In the unique pool house, a reconstructed hut from ancient times, you will find useful utensiliën that you are free to use. You will find here a.o. pool nudeln, air mattresses, chairs to take to the beach, 6 full-face diving masks in different sizes, etc. Especially the versatility of the garden offers you numerous opportunities to enjoy your holiday. The pool man (in our case a woman) comes by weekly to clean the pool and test the quality of the water.
The comfortable sun loungers around the pool are equipped with clean terry cloth covers. They invite you to relax for hours without any worries. Even at the hottest hours of the day, the outdoor shower and the spacious swimming pool of 6 x 3 meters provide sufficient cooling and the attractive spacious roof on the spacious terrace provides plenty of shade.
The swimming pool is attractively lit in the evening so that you can also take a refreshing dip in the late hours. The pavilion with the cozy sitting area also has atmospheric lighting where you can review the day until late in the evening while enjoying a snack and a drink .
From early in the morning until late in the evening you can relax in the hammock on the veranda. You can also attach these hammocks to the pavilion by the pool in various places to your liking.
Directly next to the kitchen is the covered porch with a large living table with six chairs where you can have breakfast in the shade and enjoy the fresh breeze of the north-east trade winds all day long. On the side of the house there is another cozy seating area with dining table. Here you can sit in the shade and on the wind, especially in the afternoon.
The large kitchen was completely renovated in 2021. You will find everything you need and is fully equipped. You will even find a dishwasher machine and washing machine. A modern bean coffee machine (with espresso option) and a Senseo coffee machine let you choose how you prefer to drink your coffee.
You will also find an air fryer, large fridge with spacious freezer compartment, electric stove, oven, kettle, sandwich maker, onion slicer, mixer, smoothie maker, cabbage box, etc. etc. It's like being at home and that's how our guests feel.
Comfort highlighs: sockets with both 110 and 220 volts, adaptors, hot water in the kitchen and in all bathrooms, hair dryer, washing machine up to 90° degrees, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron, all bedrooms with air conditioning and ceiling fans, all windows and doors with mosquito nets, and there are also ceiling fans in the kitchen and living room. Outside is a large mobile BBQ. You really lack nothing here.
Upon arrival, in addition to toilet paper, washing powder, fabric softener, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll and other cleaning items are also provided for your convenience. In the kitchen cupboards you will find numerous herbs, left behind by previous guests.
