In the middle of Curaçao, so Willemstad and all beaches/dive sites are quickly accessible. Because you are in the middle of the island, you miss the crowds and traffic jams of Willemstad, Jan Thiel Bay and Caracasweg. But most dive sites can be reached within 20 minutes. At the palapa you can rinse the diving gear and hang it there out of the sun. Next to restaurant de Buurvrouw is a diving school for renting bottles or you can go diving with them.
Five good restaurants within 2 kilometres, so you can eat out every day. And that costs little more than buying and preparing food and vegetables yourself.
