Soño Alegria is a detached villa in Villapark Fontein, located high on a corner. It is well located on the wind, with a spacious tropical garden, lots of shade from the palm trees, a gazebo with hammock and a lovely private swimming pool to cool off in.
Villapark Fontein is a quiet, spacious and green resort in the western part of Curacao, near the most idyllic beaches such as Cas Abou, Porto Marie and Grote Knip.
There is 24/7 security and a guarded entrance gate with friendly guards who appreciate a little chat from time to time.
Life (and vacationing) on Curacao largely takes place outside. The heart of the villa is actually the covered terrace that is directly adjacent to the living room and the garden. It has a dining area and a comfortable lounge area.
It is the ideal place to wake up at your leisure, have lunch, drinks and a bite to eat. Everything take it easy, poko poko. Enjoy the many flowering plants and the birds that will greet you cheerfully in exchange for a little sugar, seeds, a piece of fruit or a sip of water. In between, you can take a refreshing splash in the pool or take a small siesta on one of the sunbeds.
Do you really want a moment for yourself? To the side of the house is a gazebo with a wonderfully spacious 2-person hammock. On the other side of the house is a separate sitting area where you can sit in the shade in the afternoon to quietly read a book.
The house is equipped with a spacious cool living room with sitting area and Smart TV. It connects directly to the covered terrace.
The kitchen inside and the bathrooms all have hot running water. The kitchen is equipped with 2 refrigerators, Nespresso machine, Senseo machine, toaster, kettle, hand mixer, sandwich maker, microwave and extra fan. Washing dishes is something you do together, quality time!
In the outdoor kitchen are 2 induction hobs, an airfryer, a gas barbecue and a sink.
Don't feel like cooking? There are very nice restaurants in the area such as Marfa's Hangout, De Buurvrouw, Bali, Karakter and Klein Santa Martha where you can have a delicious lunch or dinner.
The bedrooms are each located on a corner of the villa, so that the cooling trade wind can blow through the house. All 3 bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning for a comfortable cool night's sleep. Bedroom 1 has an en-suite bathroom and bedrooms 2 and 3 are separated by a 2nd bathroom.
In the storage room there is a washing machine, an ironing board and iron that can be used. There is a cool box to fill with cool drinks for the beach.
A large drying line is located next to the carport.
The most beautiful beaches can be reached in 10 minutes. There are many beautiful hiking trails in the area and the Christoffel Park and the Shete Boka National Park can also be reached within 30 minutes by car.
Historic Willemstad with the famous pontoon bridge can be reached in 30 minutes.
