We are Tim & Ilse, the proud owners of Sol Bonita. Together we fell in love with Curaçao: with the wonderful climate, the beautiful beaches and the relaxed life on the island. And of course on our blue house, where that nice island feeling comes together for us. 🌴💙

For us, Sol Bonita is a place where you can take a break from the daily hustle and bustle. Where you don't have to do so much and have the time to enjoy. From a quiet morning, a refreshing dip in the pool or simply a moment together. The nice atmosphere and the space in and around the house make it a special place for us to relax.

We like to share that feeling with our guests. We hope that you will feel comfortable here from the first moment and that you can fully enjoy your holiday. Whether you like to discover the island, visit different beaches or prefer to spend a relaxing day by the pool: Sol Bonita is a great base to experience Curaçao at your own pace.

With the most beautiful beaches a short distance away, there is every opportunity to enjoy the clear blue sea and everything that makes the island so special. And after a day on the road, it is wonderful to come back to our blue house.

For us, staying at Sol Bonita is all about relaxing, making time for each other and making beautiful memories. We think it is special that our house can be part of your holiday and hope that you will love this place as much as we do.

We are Tim & Ilse, we share a great passion for football and are real bon vivants. In the winter we prefer to be on Curaçao, because we like to leave cold and bad weather behind us! We fell in love with the island, the sun and the relaxed atmosphere. With Sol Bonita we would like to share that wonderful holiday feeling with you and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must always be made in writing (by e-mail or the booking engine). The following conditions apply:

If cancelled up to 60 days before the day of arrival: 100% refund of the rent (and full refund of deposit/cleaning costs).
In case of cancellation between 60 and 30 days before the day of arrival: 50% refund of the rent.
In case of cancellation within 30 days before the day of arrival: 0% refund of the rent.

1. Companionship & age The main booker is at least 21 years old and present during the stay. A maximum of 4 people are allowed, as advised in advance at the time of booking.
2. Smoking Smoking is strictly forbidden inside. Smoking is allowed outside, on the terrace and under the palapa. When smoking inside, cleaning costs will be deducted from the deposit.
3. Pets Pets are only allowed with prior written consent. Pets are not allowed on beds, sofas or chairs. Damage or extra cleaning will be deducted from the deposit.
4. Rest & parking Respect the peace and quiet of the park. From 23:00 there is a request for silence and loud music and nuisance are not allowed. There is room for a maximum of 1 car.
5. Air conditioning Only use the air conditioner with windows and doors closed. Turn off the air conditioning when you leave the villa. This prevents malfunctions and unnecessary energy consumption.

If you like sports activities, then Surfsport Curacao might be something for you!

A wonderful relaxing day on character, less than a 10-minute drive from the villa. Big tip if you go on Saturday is Sushi Saturday, these are really irresistibly delicious!

Go on a Tuk Tuk Tour of Otrobanda and admire the beautiful murals throughout the city.

Score the tastiest smoothies and batidos on the island at Breeze, less than a 5-minute drive from the villa.

Within walking distance of the villa you will find our favorite place on the island. Rescue paws is a shelter for the four-legged friends, which you can visit. You can even adopt a dog like my parents did with our Loet!
