We look forward to welcoming you to our Villa Kas di Kalbas .
On this beautiful island, the calabash tree is known for making many beautiful things such as bowls and lamps. Inspired by the calabash tree, we decided to name our house after it (in Papiamentu, the calabash is called Kalbas).
Our house was built in 2018. We took it over in 2024 and redesigned it to our liking and added the pool.
Our villa is almost fully equipped with the essentials for a relaxing holiday.
The house
When you enter our house, you are already in the spacious living room with couch, TV and open kitchen.
Our villa has 2 bedrooms (a large one with approx. 16 m2 and a small one with approx. 10 m2) both with air conditioning, as well as 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet.
All windows are equipped with mosquito repellent.
The large covered terrace (23 m2) invites you to linger. There is a large lounge, the gas grill and the large dining table with chairs.
From the terrace you can access the utility room with safe and washing machine. Here you will find accessories for the pool, a cooler bag and 2 beach chairs.
Outside, we offer you the magnificent swimming pool (approx. 3.0 x 5.5 m and approx. 1.4 m deep), an outdoor shower and sun loungers to linger in.
The fruit trees on the property bear edible fruits, the ripe fruits of which are welcome to take.
We offer free internet via Wi-Fi with range on the property. Access is available via QR code in the house.
The house is detached and stands on a plot of approx. 506 m2.
In the front area you can park your vehicle on the property, the street is not allowed for parking.
The bedrooms
each have 2 beds: in the large bedroom 2 x 90/200 cm as a double bed and in the small bedroom 2 x 90/200 as single beds, as well as a wardrobe and bedside tables.
The rooms each have air conditioning. There are also pedestal fans.
The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, the second bathroom with shower and toilet is accessible from the small hallway.
In the closets you will find a change of bed linen and towels. The towels and the bath towels are not for the beach.
The living room
is modern and tastefully decorated with mango wood furniture. It has a display cabinet, a two-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table, TV board with 43" TV. Devices can also be connected and charged here.
With a laptop or tablet, programmes can be received via the Internet and watched on television. HDMI cable is available.
The kitchen
is designed as an open kitchen in the large living room. The L-shaped kitchenette contains most things for cooking.
There are: large sink with flexible tap, dishwasher, gas stove, extractor hood, grill oven, large fridge with separate freezer compartment, coffee maker, kettle, airfryer, blender for delicious smoothies / cocktails.
There is a wide range of restaurants on the island. Also try the small snacks on the streets, it's worth it.
And further
Bed linen, hand towels, bath towels and kitchen towels are included in the rental price. In the utility room there is a washing machine that can be used free of charge. The tenant washes the laundry himself according to his needs.
The house is wonderfully exposed to the wind. The garden is planted with mango, papaya, banana, palm trees and flowering bushes. There is a coming and going of the birds singing all day long, especially in the early hours of the morning.
General
The house is not without steps (entrance, terrace). The house is not equipped for babies and toddlers. The terrace has no railing. Because of the pool, the house is not suitable for people and children who cannot swim. The use of the pool is at your own risk, the owner assumes no liability.
It is not allowed to smoke inside the house (nor are vaporizers). Drugs or excessive alcohol consumption are also not allowed.
If something breaks, please do not hesitate to inform our administration so that help can be provided. The next guest should again find everything to his satisfaction.
Please put the garbage in the garbage can on the property. The garbage is not separated. Pick-up is always on Mondays.
The house rules of the villa park contain quiet hours, loud music and parties disturb the other guests and neighbors, please be considerate.
Observe the speed limit in the Villapark (please slow at walking pace).
A rental car should definitely be booked early enough, we are happy to give tips.
For the duration of your stay, our administration will issue an ID card for the Villa Park, which must always be shown at the entrance.
No animals are allowed in the house.
