Apartment Eden

9.1

We wish you a warm welcome in our little paradise under the sun, Apartman Eden. A modern and cozy three-room apartment with south-facing loggia (balcony) and private parking.

This apartment is the ideal base to enjoy all that Pula and Istria have to offer. Once settled in this cozy house with a cozy living room, two bedrooms and a modern bathroom (with shower, toilet and a washing machine), you can immediately enjoy all the amenities this apartment has to offer. Connect to the internet for free or relax in front of the television with many channels (Dutch and international). All rooms are also air-conditioned.

Eating out every night is not necessary. You have access to a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, combi microwave and fridge-freezer. In addition, amenities such as a coffee maker, kettle, toaster and cooking utensils complete this kitchen.

On the balcony you can enjoy the day and the setting sun on the comfortable lounge sofa. In the morning it is nice to wake up well rested in the comfortable beds with new mattresses.

An ironing board and iron are also available.
Optional: Cot and high chair. Please indicate this when booking.

About the environment:
Very conveniently located, just off the connecting roads of Pula, which means that this apartment is much more central than elsewhere in the city. Do you prefer to go directly into the sea upon arrival? Just a 7-minute drive away you will find the cooling sea at Valsaline beach, which is also the perfect base to discover the surrounding bays such as Gortan Cove or Jamica beach.

Around the corner:
A small supermarket with fresh bread rolls and spreads within walking distance. Various beaches such as Hawaii Beach, Valkane Beach, Beach Valbandon and Kamenjak Nature Park can be found within 15 minutes by car.

Pula center, the famous Amphitheatre, other sights, numerous restaurants and several large supermarkets (including Lidl, Muller and Plodine) can also be found within a few minutes.

The seaside town of Fažana is also worth a visit, as is the somewhat larger but romantic town of Rovinj.

Location & tips

Additional information

The Pula Amphitheater is one of the largest Roman arenas in the world still standing. Explore this historic landmark by day or attend a movie screening, concert, opera or ballet performance in the evening. It's not just that the three-story vaulted walls and four towers around the perimeter are still standing; Pula's Arena shows the incredible inner workings of a Roman amphitheater in vivid detail. You can see the underground passages used by Gladiators, as well as the cisterns that led perfumed water to the 20,000 spectators. This beautiful monument dates back to the first century and one of the reasons it has been preserved is because medieval knights still used it for tournaments 1000 years after it was built.
As in Roman times, the Forum of Pula is the main square of the city. So just as it would have witnessed important gatherings two millennia ago, you can be sure that something will happen in the forum whenever there is a big event. During the summer, there are concerts and other cultural events here, as well as large crowds when the Croatian national football team takes part in the European Championship or the World Cup. It's also an impressive setting, with other Roman monuments and the Renaissance-style town hall providing a fitting sense of ceremony.
A slightly older Roman monument is this triumphal arch, which was erected to commemorate the participation of the powerful Sergii family in the pivotal Battle of Actium in France. It dates from about 30 BC and considering its advanced age it is still in good condition. When it was built, the arch was a city gate leading from the naval port. Carved into the stone are friezes depicting cupids and garlands, and just below them you can still see a relief of a horse-drawn chariot.
