Breathtaking view
The apartment is located slightly on a slope on the island of Ciovo. The view at the front of the bay and the Adriatic Sea is spectacular. Distance to the beach and terraces is close (about 400 meters). It is approximately 500 meters to the center of the village. It is approximately 3 km to the center of Trogir.

Amenities nearby
In the center of Okrug Gorni (400m) you will find supermarkets, bakery, post office, pharmacy, doctor, physiotherapist, etc. The location of the apartment on an island offers the advantages of a peninsula (quiet, safe, beautiful beaches, beach bars and many magnificent views). It is quiet at the apartment, but around the corner you will find the fun of nightlife and entertainment.

Trogir, Split and Makarska
Trogir is nearby and is a UNESCO protected medieval city with beautiful streets, terraces, boulevard and shops. "the City of Masters" 3500 years old with a lot of history. But also the fashionable life on the Riva with many (super) yachts and sailing boats. A city with beautiful terraces and opportunities to stroll and eat out in excellent restaurants. The city is easily accessible on foot (about 45 minutes), by bike (15 minutes) or by car (5-10 minutes). Split is the 2nd largest city in Croatia, also UNESCO protected with its beautiful Riva and Palace on the coast. It also has a beautiful historic city center. Split is 30 minutes by car from the apartment and is also easily accessible by public transport. From Okrug Gorni it is advisable to take the boat from the apartment to Trogir (15 minutes) and then to Split along the coast (45 minutes). Arrival in Split is directly on the Boulevard. Makarska and Omis are beautiful seaside resorts on the coast beyond Split and definitely worth a visit. Reachable within 1 hour by car. Beautiful route with views of the Adriatic Sea along the coast.

Brac and Hvar and the Krka waterfalls
You can visit beautiful islands from Ciovo, Trogir and Split. Go on an excursion to the Blue Lagoon or to Three Islands. Or go snorkeling at the Kornati islands. Brac and Hvar (famed as "St Tropez but 40 years ago") can be reached by ferry from Split harbour. The Krka waterfalls are spectacular and 75 minutes away by car.

Excursions and Island Hopping
There are various 1-day excursions to Krka waterfalls, Dubrovnik, Brac/Split, Blue Moon Lagoon, Kornati, Zadar, Sibenik, etc.

Location and accessibility
The apartment is located on Ciovo in the village of Okrug Gorni near Trogir. We consider ourselves lucky to stay here in the heart of Dalmatia. Named by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 most beautiful holiday countries in the world. the location of the apartment is a fantastic base to visit this beautiful country and enjoy it to the fullest.
In terms of accessibility: The airport is 25 minutes away by car. Split airport has direct connections to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Duisburg and Cologne. Airlines such as Transavia, Easyjet, Germanwings, Jetair fly directly to Split. Ryanair flies to Zadar from Weeze (near Nijmegen) and Charlerois (B). KLM flies to Split from Amsterdam a few days a week. The autoroute is completely highway from the Netherlands to Split.

Walking, cycling and water sports.
Near the apartment you will find various walking routes and cycling routes (description in the apartment) but also on the mainland (Makarska, etc.). You can rent scooters or bicycles at various places. E-bikes and E-scooters are also available. You can also dive and snorkel. There are 2 diving schools nearby. There are many options for sailing or renting a sailboat.

There is an administrator and caretaker present at the apartment. They speak fluent English and German. We are helpful for everything regarding the apartment or available in case of questions or emergencies
