Villa Blou-Berde was completed in April 2019 and is located on a spacious plot of 950 m2. The villa is located in the Belnem district of La Palma, a 5-minute drive from the center of Kralendijk and a 5-minute drive from Lac Bay. You only have to drive a few minutes to the nearest beach.

Stylish, warm and furnished with great care are characteristics that belong to Villa Blou-Berde, something that immediately catches the eye the moment you enter the house. With an eye for detail, the villa is beautifully furnished with a homely warmth at the same time. The living room flows into the open kitchen, which is equipped with high-quality built-in appliances. The garden and terrace are also very tastefully decorated and are a genuine extension of the house.

The villa has a porch full of the wind with a lovely lounge area, 4 luxury sunbeds and 4 beach chairs and of course a dining table to enjoy the outdoors. The whole is surrounded by a spacious garden with mature plants, which provides the necessary privacy. In the garden is a spacious palapa of more than 3 by 3 meters. Of course there is a private swimming pool, measuring 7 by 4 meters with an extra seating area of 3 by 3 meters. There is also a Weber BBQ, Fatboy hammock, outdoor shower and outdoor sink for diving gear.

There are 3 bedrooms with box spring beds (all with air conditioning) and 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms have a walk-in shower, double sink and toilet.

The kitchen has an American fridge with water tap and ice cubes, oven, induction hob, dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso machine, milk frother, kettle, sandwich maker and blender. There is a washing machine and a safe. And of course there is WIFI in and around the entire house.
In the living room there is a cozy sitting area with a television that is connected to the internet (for example for use of Netflix) and a large dining table.

Prices are exclusive of service charge for the manager and for airport transfer, 24/7 support, final cleaning. Prices include (normal) use of water and electricity.

When renting villa Blou-Berde you can get a voucher to use a 10% discount at Dive Friends Bonaire, a PADI Dive Center with 8 locations on the island. The discount applies to air / nitrox, boat diving and courses.

After our first holiday in 2010, we immediately fell in love with Bonaire. An island where you really don't want to leave.

After several holidays, we rented a house in the La Palma district for the first time in the summer of 2017. We loved the house and its location on the wind so much that we took the step to build a house here ourselves.

We hope that our guests will feel as at home as we do, it is nice to read reviews in our guestbook as a common thread that this is the case.

Explanation of prices

The mentioned prices are based on a stay of two people and excluding (15%) service charge for the manager and for airport transfer, 24/7 support, intermediate and final cleaning and for use of bed linen and towels. Interim cleaning and change of linen / towels applies for stays longer than one week,

The service charge and costs for extra persons are included in the calculation as additional costs.

Prices include (normal) use of water and electricity.

Check-in is possible from 3 p.m., check-out is no later than 11 a.m. If the house is not rented out to new guests on the day of departure, a late checkout is generally possible.

When booking, 50% of the total rent must be paid in advance. The remaining 50% must be paid 1 month before the start of the stay.

From July 1, 2022, a Visitor Entry Tax will apply to Bonaire at a rate of USD 75 per person per visit to the island (USD 10 for persons up to and including 12 years of age). This tax is collected centrally and can be paid in advance or upon arrival at the airport. With the introduction of this tax, the city tax per person per night and a tax on car rental has been abolished.
