Blenchi" is our the local name for the lovely little green hummingbird which is often seen in our lovely garden that surrounds our Bonairian house. If we are not on the island, we rent our house to friends and enthusiastic tourists.
We offer you a house with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen where as can be "home" cooking.
The open kitchen is part of the living room that gives access to porches on three sides of the house and garden for outdoor living at any time of day. There are ceiling fans throughout the house and in the bedrooms are split-unit air conditioners. There is free WIFI (fiberglass).
In the garden there is the possibility to rinse and dry your dive gear. There is an outside shower to cool off after a long hot day on the beach and a BBQ to grill your fresh Bonairian fish.
Blenchi Bonaire is located in a quiet neighborhood not far from Kralendijk. The best dive sites of the island are only a few minutes drive away and the wind and kite surfing beaches are a stone's throw away. Within 500 meters there are a few beaches. But Bonaire also provides opportunity for numerous outdoor activities such as snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, deep sea fishing, horseback riding, biking etc. Moreover, Bonaire is a hotspot for birdwatchers. However, are you in search for the more spiritual you can follow yoga classes in many places on Bonaire.
And do you love great food you will find that Bonaire has put itself on the map with a wide variety of restaurants, from local fare to haute cuisine with international chefs.
There are several large supermarkets in every price for your groceries. The local currency is the US dollar and local banks offer ATM service and on-line banking.
Bonaire is a special municipality of the Netherlands, Dutch is the official language and Papiamento the local language of Bonaire. Most Bonaireans speak four or five languages and English is understood by everyone.
