Villa ‘Quiet Corner’ is a bright and spacious house with a child-friendly garden.
It is situated in a narrow lane in the historic Dumont Quarter of De Panne, only a few minutes walk away from the most spectacular white sandy beach on the Belgian/French coast. Its location is quiet and yet in the middle of the village close to good restaurants, shops and a market.

The beach, a vast stretch of sand and sea is a paradise for children and adults alike all the year round!
Walking trails and cycle routes start on the doorstep. Further sports facilities include sand-yachting and surfing, golf, tennis, horse-riding and fishing.
The tram runs 60km along the coast or to the fairytale fun-park ‘Plopsaland’ only a short ride away.
Beautiful museums, art galleries and places of interest to be visited nearby. Throughout the year many festivals and folklore are celebrated in surrounding villages.

It is in an ideal location for exploring the WWI 1914-1918 battlefields of Flanders, and WWII Operation Dynamo 1940, took place on its beaches. Observe surviving evidence of many other historic battles fought in the immediate vicinity.

Downstairs the house has a spacious light living-room, a sun-trap terrace with view and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The modern kitchen has all the necessary equipment for great cooking. Upstairs are three large double bedrooms and a luxury bathroom.

Clean towels and sheets are provided for your stay. Children’s toys and games are available. We have books, leaflets and maps of all there is to see & do in the area.

My sister and I manage our house in the Panne. As a child we have been here with my grandparents all our childhood. We have modernized the house in recent years and try to improve it every year. It is a wonderful family house. Parents with children and grandparents this is the ideal place. If you want to be at the seaside with all the conveniences, this is your place.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

In summer minimum of 14 days. Out of season on request and with a minimum of 7 nights in Easter/Christmas period and school holidays. Spring/autumn minimum of 4 nights. Booking with less than 14 days in advance cannot always be promised due to organizational problems such as cleaning and preparing the house.
