Le Chênelierre can easily accommodate 2 couples of friends with their children or a large family. And if grandparents want to accompany, they will be welcome with a room just for them on the ground floor. The cottage can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults and the total capacity of the cottage (including babies) is 9 people.
In this house located on the edge of the forest, you will immediately feel at home; Whether you come as a couple or as a couple, with family with children or with friends... Everything is thought of so that everyone has a wonderful stay!
With its 4 bedrooms, its indoor games room, its friendly living room, its terrace and its partially fenced garden, you will not step on each other's toes! Le Chênelierre is equipped, not like a holiday home, but like a real home.
If you come with Snoopy and Mirza, you will also find everything they need for their stay (bowls, sofa protectors, plaids, etc.). However, you should know that it is not possible for us to fence off the entire land that goes up into the wood behind the house. Be aware of this and take this into account for their safety!
In autumn, comfortably seated on the terrace in the evening with a glass of mulled wine, you can quietly listen to the deer's braying in the nearby woods.
On sunny days, you can have your aperitifs and barbecue meals or relax in the deckchairs at your disposal.
All year round, in good weather, your children will play outside, either crawling in the woods, or in the caravan or on the portico and its perched cabin.
If it rains, your toddlers will spend hours playing in the indoor playroom; Your teenagers will most certainly have already scanned the wifi code and will be glued to their screens... or they will have started a game of Jungle Speed or another board game.
And you, adults, will be able to put the world to rights in the living room, chatting freely while waiting for the rain to stop before going hiking in the surrounding area. The hardest part will be getting the kids out of the playroom!
There are many great places to discover in the nearby area: the megalithic site and its Museum in Wéris (4km), the Domaine de Hottemme (10km), the tourist town of Durbuy (13km), etc etc.
Sports enthusiasts are not left out either: a lot of walks or mountain bike rides from the cottage (maps and itineraries available), breathtaking views of the green meadows and wooded hills.
Note that there is only one bathroom on the ground floor and the toilet is in this bathroom. There is no separate toilet... This can be problematic if there are really many of you!
The road that passes below the access ramp to the house is sometimes quite busy during rush hour but your children cannot get off it; Make sure to always close the bottom gate!
