The “Duikersnest” is a beautiful holiday house, ideally located in a quiet area at 50m from the river “The Ourthe”. It’s a fully equipped house for maximum 6 people (1 pet allowed). With the Ourthe right in front, the holiday house is a perfect base to go fishing and/or kayaking or for those who love nature. Here time stands still!There is plenty to do : more than 250 Km (160 Miles) of well marked mountain bike and hiking trails, rafting, indoor and outdoor swimming pool close by, (the latter only open during the month of July and August), tennis courts, delta gliding, cross country skiing in winter, horseback riding...it’s all available close by.Not only active people will enjoy this place! One can also just relax in the spacious garden to listen to the sound of the births and take in the fresh air. Or visit one of the many museums in La Roche and the neighbourhood or one of the attraction parks. Feel like shopping? The historical centre of La Roche with its shops and medieval buildings is only at a 15 min walking distance or 5 min by bike. No parking problems! You don’t feel like cooking? La Roche and the area around have a variety of restaurants even the most spoiled gourmet can find a delicious meal at his or her liking, offering local cuisine and local specialties as well as international cuisine.

Why 'the Loons Nest "? Diving was for years our profession and passion. Eventually we lost our hearts here in the Ardennes. Every day we realize how privileged we are to live here. Prices quoted are per week (from Friday 5:00 PM to Friday morning 11:00 AM), per mid-week (from Monday 5:00 PM to Friday 10:00 AM) or per weekend (from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday morning 10:00 AM).
A short weekend is also possible (from Friday 5 pm to Sunday evening 8 pm). Attention: Sunday is only departure day! Arrival on Sunday is NEVER possible,
 Special periods may differ (change on days other than Friday and Monday).
You can always contact us if you want a different check-in / check-out day.
Please also take into account that there are additional costs including: water 0.5 €/pp/n - electricity: 0.4 €/kWh (consumption via solar panels is included!) - tour. tax : 1 €/pp/n - cleaning : 50 € - wood : 10 €/ton.
Pets not allowed.
Deposit to be paid : 400 € before arrival

During the summer months (July & August) and Christmas & New Year it is only possible to rent per week .

La Roche-en-Ardenne (Walloon: Li Rotche) is a town of 4,000 inhabitants in the Belgian province of Luxembourg on the banks of the river Ourthe.
The town is far beyond the borders of Belgium known as a tourist trekpleister.De place attracts many tourists in the summer season, there are many opportunities for active sports such as mountain biking, kayaking and parasailing.Iedere summer evening there is a performance in which a ghost (called Berthe) from a local legend with a bell on the medieval castle appears.
In the War Museum of La Roche-en-Ardenne is to see that the city during World War II was fully platgebombardeerd.Het town and its surroundings have a whole series of tourist attractions. Het kasteel, dat vanop een steile rots over de stad troont, dateert waarschijnlijk uit de 11e eeuw. Het kasteel trekt elk jaar duizenden bezoekers waaronder de meeste getrouwe ongetwijfeld gravin Berthe is.
