In our holiday home "Charme de Borzée" we offer a unique experience in the heart of the Ardennes. Hidden in an idyllic, green valley with beaver dams, surrounded by imposing forests and at the end of a cul-de-sac, we find ourselves in Borzée (a hamlet of picturesque La Roche-en-Ardenne). This characterful holiday home with its traditional stone/wooden façade can accommodate up to 4 people and a baby (up to 2 years). It is the ideal place for families, couples or friends who want to get away from it all.
Our holiday home is located on a small-scale, quiet holiday domain with about 30 houses.
Charme de Borzée is equipped with numerous facilities to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Upon entering the house you enter the entrance hall, which gives further access to the fully equipped kitchen/dining room. The dining room forms one large space with the living room (+ wood stove). On the south side there is one large glass area with a spacious covered terrace with BBQ where you can enjoy the view of the valley.
On the lower floor are the 2 spacious bedrooms and large bathroom with walk-in shower.
There is a separate toilet on each floor.
Everything is there for a holiday in comfort.
There are 8 charging stations in the car park for charging electric cars.
It is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday: pure enjoyment of the tranquility. Several hiking and mountain biking trails start at the front door, straight into the fresh air. The Ourthe and the beach (Plage) of Maboge within walking distance and the many adventurous outdoor activities (kayak, rafting, climbing park, ...) nearby.
In the winter months are nearby the cross-country ski slopes of Samrée (4km) and the ski slope of Baraque de Fraiture (10km). La Roche (castle-wildlife park), Achouffe (brewery), Bastogne (War Museum), Saint-Hubert (abbot's palace-basilica-wildlife park), Nisramont (dam/kayak), Hotton (caves), Houffalize : all at max. approx. 30 Minutes driving time
After a day of adventure in the forests of La Roche-en-Ardenne, there is nothing better than coming home and lighting up the wood-burning stove. Enjoy the crackling fire, a good glass of wine and the pure silence around you together. Charme de Borzée is the ultimate place to relax, enjoy nature and make precious memories.
