On the ground floor you can enjoy a number of cozy spaces:
- a spacious lounge, with a large U-shaped sofa
- a pleasant dining room with long dining table and fireplace (with play corner for the little ones)
- a spacious kitchen with the perfect equipment for large groups (2 refrigerators, freezer, 2 dishwashers, 2 stoves, 2 ovens, ...) and a cozy kitchen island with a number of bar chairs. Furthermore, the kitchen is very well equipped with cooking utensils and appliances.
The house is perfect for a family weekend, or a weekend with a number of families. There are 8 spacious bedrooms – with all amenities and ample storage space. Each room has a double bed, and 2 of the rooms also have 2 extra single beds. In addition, each room has its own shower or bathroom. Two of the bathrooms also have a spacious bath.
Outside there is everything for a relaxing weekend: a very spacious terrace with a table for 20 people, umbrellas and sun loungers. In addition, you will find several corners in the garden for cozy sitting, a large petanque court, a second large terrace in the garden, a ping pong table, and a football field. Add to that the beautiful pond that is full of life (fish, but also frogs , salamander and crayfish), and you understand that you can fully enjoy nature here.
Rienne is a small and cozy village located in the municipality of Gedinne. The holiday home is located on the edge of the village. Just in front of the house there is a well-equipped playground, and nearby you will find a mini-supermarket, bakery, butcher's shop and a local cafe.
A little further on is a very cozy and tasty restaurant. For larger supermarkets and more restaurants you only have to drive 4 kilometers to Gedinne.
This region is not the best known of the Ardennes, but it is one of the most beautiful and peaceful - in full nature. There are still many vast forests here that extend beyond the French border (and where many resistance fighters hid during the war).
The region is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. In the municipality of Gedinne you will find more than 25 well-signposted walks – from 3 to 20 km in length. (Several of them run past the holiday home.)
Furthermore, there are 4 very nice mountain bike trails that are well signposted – for 3 of them you can start right away from the holiday home. Nearby are a number of very beautiful lakes where you can find traces of beavers and other aquatic inhabitants. You will also find one of the highest points in Belgium in Gedinne, so you can also go cross-country skiing along 4 trails when it snows.
At the front is a parking lot with enough space for 6 cars - a charging station for electric cars is also provided.
