This recently renovated chalet, located on the beautiful Sunclass domain in Durbuy, is located on the outside of the park with a beautiful view of the forest and the valley, guaranteeing tranquility! Because of this quiet location, you never have the feeling of staying on a holiday domain.
The chalet is located at 2 km walking distance from Durbuy, which is considered the smallest city in the world! A few metres from the chalet, a footpath leads to the historic centre (20 to 25 minutes' walk).
Renting a bike (VTT, E-bike) is possible at "Adventure Valley" at 1 km from the chalet (Adventure Valley is the largest adventure park in Belgium). Those who wish can enjoy the heated indoor swimming pool and various sports facilities (a tennis and basketball court, table tennis tables, a pit pat, a petanque court and 2 playgrounds for the children) within the holiday domain.
Our warm, attractive chalet offers sleeping space for 4 people. On the first floor there are two full bedrooms. The bedroom at the rear of the cottage has a large double bed (160cm), the front bedroom has two large single beds (90cm). The beds are equipped with a topper and all rooms are equipped with an insect screen so that, during warm summer nights, it is wonderful to sleep with the windows open and wake up to the chirping of the birds!
Maison Tronchiennes is equipped with every comfort including a cozy built-in gas fireplace, TV, free WIFI, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a rain shower. If desired, you can rent one or more towel packages (= large and small bath towel at 6 euros) and/or kitchen package (kitchen towels at 5 euros) at the reception. There is a possibility to park your car next to the house.
Important to know:
* The deposit (150€) will be fully refunded 8 days after departure if you comply with the chalet regulations (= departure instructions) and in case of no damage. The chalet regulations together with tourist information and culinary addresses will be emailed to you 30 days before arrival.
*On request, late check out (at 5 pm) is sometimes possible. (only on Sundays, extra charge)
*There is a cot (0-3 years) and a high chair available in the chalet.
* The cottage is located in a forest. Due to the risk of fire, it is NOT allowed to barbecue, but there is a barbecue area in the park. A barbecue grill can be rented at the reception.
* Charging an electric/hybrid car at the chalet is NOT allowed.
