Relax and unwind in this beautifully renovated, stylish wooden house full of atmosphere. This oh-so-beautiful A-frame house has really been taken care of down to the last detail.
Sustainable, high-quality material choices, a wonderful gas fireplace, one by one attractive, cozy spaces. You wake up with the birds and if you are lucky you will see a squirrel from the floating sun terrace between the trees. The house will be available for rent from April 1, '24 & the house is so beautifully decorated with many real plants, velvet cushions, plaids & beautiful accessories!
The house is located in a quiet, small-scale & very attractive forest park 2 km from Durbuy. Beautiful walking and cycling routes start nearby and in no time you will find yourself in the lively city center of the smallest town in Belgium via the nice walking path (2 km) along the Ourthe. Relax in nature, yet close to the bustling city center of one of our most beautiful towns in the country. So 'Best of both worlds'.
A-frame house 'Like a dream' has a wonderfully unique atmosphere. When you enter, you immediately feel it... There is an atmosphere & an energy that you simply enjoy being in and coming home to. The cozy (brand new) gas fireplace may also have something to do with this ;). A truly wonderful stay in this house in the middle of the beautiful wooded area of Durbuy! The house has a very spacious terrace where you can enjoy an aperitif or a nice dinner with the family in complete privacy.
You can sleep 4 people in the house. The landing was completely furnished as a very spacious dressing room, so that you can also take a longer holiday break here. So there is no bed on the landing, but it is a beautiful space to store your belongings and clothes. The house has 2 spacious bedrooms, bedroom 1 has a double bed and bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Both with beautiful bohemian accents.
The kitchen and the bathroom are really two beautiful spaces: natural stone was used and the very best quality materials were used. A beautiful Siemens gas stove, a wonderful rain shower. Oh yes, 2 even! One from the ceiling and one from a large rain shower from the wall.
As the owner, I always provide all kinds of nice extras: candles, tea, coffee, olive oil, herbs and so on. And with this house I am also going to do a small experiment: the house can only be rented from April 1. At the end of March I will stay in it for a while to add the finishing touch to the house: many green hanging plants, beautiful standing plants, greenery on the terrace, beautiful accessories, some color, beautiful plaids and colorful velvet cushions will be added to the interior. . Now, my experiment: Would you like to provide my plants with some water during your stay? I would love to be able to offer a holiday home IN the green, pampered WITH real green inside to my guests.
The interior and exterior of the house were completely renovated. Which ensures that you can enjoy a relaxing holiday in the forest in complete comfort. Access for guests The house is completely at your disposal. In the forest park where you are staying, you can make free use of the large swimming pool and the sports fields: football, basketball, tennis. The forest park also has a very nice tavern with a beautiful summer terrace.
Other things to noteCheck-in from 3pm; Check-out until 10am. If you would arrive later than 5 p.m. (or after 9 p.m. on Friday), please let us know in advance so that the key can be placed in a locker.
