Koekehuis Lower Appartement

In our farmhouse dating from 1840, you will stay in the original and cozy downstairs living area where many authentic elements are still present, such as the 19th century stove and the built-in oak wall cupboards on thick interior walls. Wonderfully cool in the summer, nice and warm in the winter. There are two separate bedrooms, a new modern bathroom with underfloor heating, a cozy living room with seating area and a well-equipped fitted kitchen with all necessary appliances such as dishwasher, combi oven, etc. In the entrance is the air hockey table, guaranteed fun for young and old. The spacious covered terrace with barbecue considerably expands the living space in the summer.
Behind the house is a large enclosed garden with play equipment and a play forest.
At the end of the garden there is a sun terrace with unobstructed views over the meadows where deer regularly graze. Since only one group always stays in the building, the garden does not have to be shared and privacy is guaranteed (the upper living area is then not rented). Various walking, cycling and mountain bike routes pass our house. A fantastic location for those who appreciate space, peace and nature.
Please note : due to the historic character, sometimes low and narrow passages and steps must be taken into account. This makes the house unsuitable for wheelchairs and walkers. We like to keep our house allergy-free, which is why we do not allow dogs.

Our wonderful holiday home is located near the three-country point Belgium-Luxembourg-Germany in the Belgian Eifel/Ardennes, on the Ourtal route and on one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Europe (Vennbahn route). The quiet and beautiful location on the edge of the village of Oudler, municipality of Burg Reuland, guarantees an unobstructed view over the fields and hills without being remote. This southern part of the High Fens nature park, in German-speaking Eastern Belgium, is known for its many war museums (Ardennes Offensive/Battle of the Bulge). It is an ideal starting point for all conceivable outdoor activities. It is less than a 10-minute drive to our neighbors Luxembourg and Germany. In the other direction, a number of other gems of the Ardennes are within easy reach, all reachable in less than 30 minutes! In short, a region with a lot of (international) potential.
