After 5 kms of road in the forest of Bouillon, being attentive to possible game crossings, you arrive at the hamlet of Grand-hez which is part of the city of Bouillon. My house is the last one, on the French border, it's what we call a "border house", it was a café and a small shop frequented by people, French and Belgian, who came from the villages on both sides of the border.
I completely renovated it in 2004 respecting the interior and exterior space, I have been striving to improve it since its renovation. Each bedroom has its living room, its bathroom, its separate toilet, which allows everyone to have their privacy.
The kitchen is open to the dining room table and is well equipped (having been in the restaurant business, we were well placed for this), the garden looks like a park and it is very large, opposite, it is the forest with forest paths frequented by lumberjacks and forest rangers... and animals! In spring it is a symphony of bird songs, in autumn you can hear at dawn or at night, the bellow of the deer coming from the bottom of the forest. The sky is full of stars because the night is dark here. If the weather permits, the barbecue and the fire pit will brighten up your evenings on the terrace or in the garden
