The apartment is located in the aparthotel (****) and has everything you could wish for a wonderful holiday. The hotel is located near the ski lift/ski slope (200m) and the practice slope of the ski school and the ski bus stop. The apartment has been completely renovated and newly furnished and has free internet and DUTCH TV CHANNELS.
The cozy and friendly center of Mittelberg with nice restaurants, bars and shops is about 300 m away. Several beautiful cross-country skiing trails and hiking trails start at the hotel. The well-known Steinbeck trail starts behind the hotel. The Aparthotel has a lot of facilities: a lovely indoor swimming pool with sun terrace, saunas, solarium, an indoor children's play area with play equipment (including table tennis tables), bar/dancing (with live music every evening), and a bowling alley. There is also a ski school and ski rental in the hotel. In the attractive and excellent restaurant (also takeaway meals, pizza and sandwich service) you can have breakfast and dinner. If you rent our apartment you can use all facilities (free of charge).
The apartment (type 4, 6 persons) is located on the second and third floor of the Aparthotel and can be reached by elevator. On the ground floor of the apartment is a 4-person bedroom (a double bed and a bunk bed) and the bathroom. On the first floor is the living room with a sofa bed (with real beds), balcony and the kitchen. The view from the apartment is one of the most beautiful in the Aparthotel and there is sun on the balcony from early afternoon until evening. In winter you look directly at the ski slope.
Mittelberg is the highest village (1250 meters) just across the German border in Austria and is surrounded by mountains with peaks up to 2600 meters. In the vicinity of Mittelberg there is a beautiful mountain lake where you can swim, a toboggan run, an outdoor swimming pool, a via ferrata park, etc. During the whole summer, 8 mountain lifts (included in the rental price) remain in operation for hikers. It is a very pleasant village, which is also very lively in the summer and has many activities to offer for children.
