Our EXCLUSIVE PENTHOUSE is located directly on the piste/alm, right next to the gondola at the middle station of the “Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen” (1200 mtr). It is located in the large, snow-sure and renowned skiing and hiking area of the "Kitzbüheler Alpen".

WINTER
 To ski:
The adjacent gondola gives access to the largest connected ski area in Austria; the Kitzbüheler Alpen, 200 km of slopes and SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixenthal, 279 km of slopes.
This means that you can visit the following places on your skis:
Kitzbühel, Kirchberg, Jochberg, Pass Thurn, Mittersill/Hollersbach, Westendorf, Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Söll, Scheffau, Hopfgarten and Itter.

Cross-country skiing:
On the other side of the apartment is the Hochmoorloipe, length 22 km, the trail is just like the penthouse at 1200 mtr. height and is therefore almost snow-sure. This trail is located on a so-called “Sonnen Plateau” with a unique view of the 3000 m high snow-capped mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
If you go to the valley with the adjacent gondola, you will find the unique “Pinzga-Loipe”, length 130 !!! km, You can ski on your cross-country skis to Krimml (from the Krimmler Waterfalls), Kaprun or Zell am See. In Mittersill itself you will find the “Blizzard Loipe”, length 3 km, which is illuminated at night. Whether you are a beginner or advanced cross-country skier, the trails around the penthouse will charm you for an entire holiday!

SUMMER
The gondola gives access to the most beautiful hiking and mountain biking area of the Kitzbüheler Alpen.
The penthouse has a phenomenal view over the Hohe Tauern National Park.

A top holiday for families with children
The area around the penthouse invites you to make fun outings with the children.
With the gondola you can descend to the valley and there you can do your shopping in the idyllic small village of Hollersbach.
In Hollersbach there is a beautiful natural swimming lake, which can be enjoyed by the children as well as for you. On the waterfront you have a beautiful view of the beautiful alpine massif of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Tips for excursions in the area (maximum 20 minutes drive)
- The natural swimming lake in Hollersbach (accessible with the gondola next door).
- The Krimmler Waterfalls, the highest and largest in Europe
- Rafting (also for children) in Taxenbach or Ost-Tirol
- Mountain carts in Bramberg
- Slide course (also for adults!) in Neukirchen
- Summer tobogganing in Kaprun (open all year round)
- Kitzbühel, beautiful Austrian village with the most fashionable shops
- Kaprun, the glacier, Kitzsteinhorn
- Hexenwasser in Söll, the largest nature playground in the Alps with 60 cheerful and wet stations.
- Zell am See, sailing across the lake in an electric boat or taking a tour on a large yacht where you can dance in the evening.
- Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, via beautifully laid curves, the panoramic road takes you to the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park and to the Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain at 3,798 metres.
- Located in the heart of the golf paradise of Tyrol and Salzburg.
- Mountain biking, cycling in the adjacent gondola or for the untrained cyclist, the spacious Pinzgau valley offers beautiful wide cycle paths, such as the Tauernradweg!

THE PENTHOUSE
The luxury penthouse has an east-facing balcony of 6 m2 and a south-facing terrace of 25 m2.
From the parking garage you step into the elevator that takes you directly into the living room of the penthouse with a special key.

The height of the living room is 4.80 m. A beautiful mezzanine with glass balustrade has been created here.
The master bed is located here, we placed a large dormer window here at the end of 2020, so that you now also have a view of the slopes.
From your luxury box spring you look directly into the Hohe Tauern National Park.
On the ground floor are the living room with wooden floor and wood stove, the luxury kitchen with a dishwasher and the 1st bathroom. With windows to the ceiling, this space is beautiful!

The stairs take you down to the 2nd bedroom with compact 2nd bathroom.
The 2nd bedroom has a 3-layer bunk bed.

Pets are not allowed
Non-smoking penthouse, smoking on balcony and terrace is allowed.

We are Harry and Monique Rengers, we love Austria in winter and summer. We ski, raft, climb, hike and bike. We love delicious and honest food, and we happily recommend the trout or the Pinzgauer beef. We also like to enjoy our own terrace with a fantastic view of the beautiful mountains. We bought our apartment for its unique location, on the mountain on the slopes or in the summer on the alm with a fantastic view of the peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
