Our attractive and comfortable 6-8-person holiday chalet Erle is located in the sun and snow-sure Salzburger Lungau with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. The chalet was redecorated in 2019 in characteristic Austrian style.

Surrounded by a UNESCO protected nature reserve, you can enjoy a relaxing and active holiday in all seasons in your spacious eco-chalet (120m2). Quality, comfort and cosiness are paramount and our local hostess Jodi (speaks English and German) ensures that you lack nothing.

Freshly baked bread rolls delivered to your chalet every morning or a picnic basket for lunch. Of course you can also arrange everything yourself and, for example, enjoy a BBQ on your own sunny terrace. Supermarkets and restaurants are close by. There is a parking space right next to the chalet and another covered parking space in the carport.

As a guest of the small-scale St. Martin Chalets resort, you can make free use of the swimming pond, sauna and fitness room. The Sonnenbahn cable car to the Grosseck-Speiereck ski area (50 km of slopes) is within walking distance of the chalet (800 m). The new gondola of the Aineck-Katschberg ski area (70 km) is a 5-minute drive away and the famous Obertauern (100 km) is a 25-minute drive away. The free ski bus to all ski areas stops 100m from the chalet. In the summer, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and cycling (separate cycle paths) are popular and an 18-hole golf course is 3 km away. There are many excellent signposted walks in the immediate area and the Sonnenbahn near the chalet will take you to wonderful alpine and alpine lake walks.

With an eye for quality and detail, the chalet is furnished as follows: On the ground floor there is a spacious sitting area with cable TV/DVD, patio doors to the terrace, a large dining table with a round sofa and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast corner. The sofa in the sitting area can easily be converted into a double bed. There is also a separate storage room with a heated ski boot rack and a washing machine and drying rack. On the ^1st floor you will find a double bedroom with balcony and a private bathroom with sink, shower and toilet, another bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds that use a second ^bathroom (with sink, bath and shower) and a separate toilet.

Parquet with underfloor heating on both floors, a traditional 'kachelofen' (free wood) and sheep's wool insulation throughout the chalet ensure a comfortable temperature in both summer and winter.

The attic with fixed staircase can be used as a relaxation or play area for the (older) children. There is free internet with excellent coverage in and around the chalet. Dogs are very welcome.

The people are very friendly in this area where mass tourism is not yet known and prices are still very reasonable.
