Hi Angela,
We have now been a week back in the Netherlands, but we still enjoy after
our stay in your apartment in Maria Alm.
It is a lovely large and luxurious apartment with all amenities.
Your conversions are certainly worth it!
We have also made use of the "Salzburgerland karte" and, consequently
many activities in the area done. Especially without card, expensive lifts
were very popular for us so go up there and walk.
Particularly those in Lofer is very worthwhile because of the fun "erlebnis path"
you can walk there. Fun for all ages!
We will definitely recommend your apartment to prospective Austria goers.

July 16, 2008 (period 5 to 12 July 2008)
we found our (much) too short holiday very successful. Maria Alm area is beautiful. We have been in Austria but found this was surely the most beautiful. Nothing but praise about your holiday, it is well equipped and that is always pleasant stay.
Maria Alm has not yet disclosed its secrets and therefore we also plan to make sure to come back, maybe we can go back in your holiday stay. We found it also be fun so that the trails are well marked, you just can not get lost, super!

Thanks again and until next time!

21 to 28 June 2008 (from the guestbook in the house)
The first week of the summer of 2008 was our turn to this house to live. Unlike the previous occupants, we had the warm to hot weather, interspersed with a few thunderstorms.
We are real people out and talking to our good sense. This diary has given us several tips for our day trips delivered. Although our son Jeroen in a wheelchair and dar no step without it we can undertake many and even walks can make.
The lift of Maria Alm is just wide enough for wheelchairs to near the top to view it. There we started with. Then we open the funicular to Kaprun taken to the reservoirs. That is very spectacular, and the buses on the elevator are suitable for connection to the wheelchair. Here at home we drove the wheelchair across the grass, and we have asked the neighbor to the park with our account. That went fine. (Note: now there is a ramp that can be placed on the stairs, wheelchair, scooter, etc.)
In between we also visited several restaurants in the area. The most tastiest we had dinner in restaurant Wildbacheck, fairly rear Maria Alm. That was more than worth the walk. Furthermore enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
Very warm greetings + thanks for the use of your home.

Marli, Domien and Jeroen B

June 9 to June 21, 2008 (from the guestbook in the house)
The trip by car sleeper train was a nice "vacation", the arrival at home 6-1 on the Schlossberg was fine.
Beautiful house with "all d rop and ran d'"
Only the weather every day ... rain, a short temper, drizzling all day, just wet.
Exception to this wetness was Thursday, June 19.
On this sunny and warm day, we even looked up the wetness. A trip to the waterfall Krimler.

The rest of our vacation I put on the website of this property.

Have fun.

2 to 8 March 2008 (from the guestbook in the house)
A day later arrived, it was intended.
Unfortunately, so a day less skied.
Through regular lessons Edelweiss, Lisan its bi-unique was already waiting for her in Hinterthal, Monday had very nice weather. Wednesday lot of snow and cold.
Very good toven in this apartment, room enough for a wheelchair, ideal.

We have again enjoyed, because it is still a very special week for us with all those happy smiling children with disabilities.

Many strength with the renovations!

Regards Peter Jenneke Mart Lisan

16-23 Feb. 2008 (from the guestbook in the house)

We had a wonderful skiing holiday. 4 days beautiful clear day and 2 days with higher temperatures. The snow get all that mushy ....
Our children (4 and 8 years), the last week learning skiing! A great ski school here.
The apartment was a cozy place in this week.

Greetings Piet & Jeanet

10/01/2008 (from guestbook in the house)
Dear Angela, Carlo and kids
Our week is almost over. We are fully recovered, literally! and figurlijk.
It is wonderful ... lots of snow, sun, good slopes, friendly people, good food and drink.
Ron and Luke skiing somewhat, Kelly and I take it easy, but Kelly has fortunately well below the knee.
We have one private lessons with Kurt and it was worth it.
Your apartment is just like home, all the trimmings, we felt immediately at home.
It was very quiet this week, no waiting for lifts or restaurants.
We went out to dinner every night and have tried the recommended restaurants ... all good!
Sonja Bakker home again out of the cupboard ...

When we arrived in Maria Alm, we could address the key and the Schlossberg ... Well of course not find it but just on the police desk questions.
The "some", "real" policeman of Maria Alm did not hesitate, took his car and drove us to the Schlossberg and the key holder ... now that's service ...

Because I work three days a week, a busy household with two dogs, a rabbit and a hamster run, it was in the beginning to get rid of "nothing" to do ...
Luckily I still was tempted to turn and dry (self explanatory) and twice to vacuum, otherwise soon the transition so great ...

Well what we are concerned, Maria Alm really worth repeating.
We keep at least contact.

Ron, Albertina, Luke Kelly and V.

June 25, 2006 (period 10 to 17 June 2006)
Hi Angela,

We are now back after three weeks of vacation. We do have written in the guestbook, but with this we still indicate that we have a wonderful week spent in your apartment. We arrived with gray and overcast but the other day the sun will shine and not been away.
The first is the best day a feast in the village with music and costumes, great restaurants and beautiful surroundings. Fun trips made by bicycle and on foot, although the climb was a bit heavy for us.
A cozy apartment with all the trimmings. Worthwhile. Should we go to Austria again then we will certainly want to make use of your apartment.
Ineke and Ben V.

12 June 2006 (period 27 May to 10 June)
Hi Angela,

We had a wonderful holiday in your apartment. The first week a lot of snow and rain. Nevertheless, it is a real doevakantie become. We have an immediate 12-day Salzburg Kart and have bought many gorges, castles, mountain railways, etc Eisriesenwelt visited. The second week with our daughter and grandchild Bass with the baby carriage with 3 gletsjerbahnen Kitzsteinhorn. You can see in the picture. Furthermore, even with the stroller to the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and natural to wild and zoo Verleitern Murmeltieren the Arthurhaus. My daughter still wants to thank you for the use of all childhood cases. It was all perfect. The best I found it Eisriesenwelt. Despite the many steps (1040), I saved it anyway with my asthma. So for me a very
endurance. The guides there would be exchanged for our dog Flint
a chamois. The last day we hike to the waterfall Loferer Alm
Taken. Also a must for hikers. Hans wants a return for the hike to the snow he could not finish the Riemannshaus and the reservoirs of Kaprun were also closed because of avalanche danger. Who knows we could ever use of your apartment. It is our great baby, you've got a nice spot.
Greetings, Louke

June 8, 2006
Dear Angela,

We made from May 6 to 20 use of the apartment, a spacious apartment for two people ;). The kitchen was completely what regularly invited to cook for yourself. We came to Maria Alm to walk. So after the winter season and for the summer season is a wonderful haven for tranquility. The cable cars are closed and there is no catering on the road. That meant a backpack along with bread and drink for the road. Nature is beautiful in May. Was there in the first week of snow in many places, in the second week the crocuses bloomed where the snow had melted and the meadows were full of flowers. It was our first time we walked in Austria. By following the signs was always the question: How far is run and how we come back. A walking you have to have with you. We have come home a photo booklet of our walks, ranging from one to six hours, route and parts of the map. Booklet that we send you to the apartment to make it so other guests can use.

Dear Angela and family
We had never thought twice an unforgettable holiday in Maria Alm to experience. But this year was the sun of the party and the snow of excellent quality. What we have beautiful pictures. We were afraid this year even all black runs and had no happy rendezvous with Dr. Kimbacher. Daughter Elien, which this year due to a sports injury was not allowed to ski, has suffered huge good time. Together with girlfriend Elizabeth she came every afternoon to the Aberg Alm together to picnic and enjoy the lovely winter sun. The cottage was fantastic again: nice and cozy, great cuisine, blissful beds and a relaxing shower. Unfortunately, we are now back in Belgium.
Kind regards
Steven, Chris, Kristof, Lander, Liesbeth and Elien

September 10, 2005 (from guestbook in the house)
This was a very nice week.
The environment here is beautiful.
We have top of the mountain between the cows walked.
The apartment was excellent. And we had good weather.
Fam. Woertman

September 2, 2005 (from guestbook in the house)
It is already over 2 weeks holiday.
For us the first time to Austria.
The 1st week we have a lot of rain. But if you saw the images of the floods struck here with it.
We have done a lot despite the rain. Many villages and towns viewed.
Zell am See, we found very nice and cozy.
From that it was dry we walked. Here in the village over the mountain to the cable car. The steep path behind the church upwards (+ - 1 hour).
And on the other hand, less steep downward. The Lichtensteinklamm in St. John's beautiful. The toboggan sommer we had a lot of fun and the girls thought it best (mean 11 years).
We are much went swimming with the nice weather the 2nd week. It is a nice pool only we had thought it was a little closer.
I think the winter here is a totally different angle, we might even do that sometimes.
We all really enjoyed and come to us perhaps think back.
The view is beautiful and with binoculars you can sometimes see people on the high mountains, which was very nice.
Many greetings:
Fam Bakker

18 August 2005 (from guestbook in the house)
This was a short vacation before the kids go back to school next Monday.
Unfortunately we had a lot of rain.
So much so that people in Saalfelden even had sandbags ready.
Despite the weather to GrossGlockner been visited and the ice cave in the salt mines have been.
On our last day, also the first sunny days being Sommerrodeln.
We hope that grandpa, grandma and M. in 3 weeks also may experience a great holiday.
Well, cottage until February 2006 - skiing!

August 2005
Hi Angela,
We just returned this morning from Maria Alm. We have a nice
holiday. We had a nice apartment and complete (31/23) and also the place
Maria Alm, we found fun with many hiking opportunities. We have
also reasonably good weather. The rain all day but never
and we have so much to walk. We even have another 4 in the afternoons
sun may lie with the Ritzensee. All in all we liked so!

Thursday, July 11, 2005 (from guestbook in the house)
It is unfortunately again, after 3 weeks we sadly back home.
We enjoyed the cottage, the scenery, the many beautiful walks that we took the kids (7 and 5 years) might do.
One of our highlights was the Grossglockner (30-dgn card) and the Franz Joseph Höhe the cable car down. Hence about 15 minutes walk to the glacier-Pasterze. Overwhelming, especially when you consider how far the glacier in a 40-many years, retired. Grandiose nice trip.
For those who like it (as we and our children) to do something more to learn about nature and then mn is the butterflies' Hochkönigs Schemterlingsreick "in Hinterthal - direction Muhlbach fun and educational.
Our oldest son loves rather fish and should be included in the vacation. This may be in the Fischer Refuge, which is between Saalfelden and Leogang, + - 11 km from the vak.huis, at some point you get to the left "Haustechnik Walder". After 200 m left. What you catch your computing and take you. The rods can borrow (rent?) - I do not know, because wijhadden themselves with rods.
The trip ri Arthurhaus is indeed beautiful. We got several rides (huts) walked with the children: Picklalm, Erichhütte, Stegmoosalm, Mitterfeldalm.
The Erichhütte murmmeltiere seen
For those who - geologically-interesting nature lovers is the Seisenbergklamm (Lofer to Weissbach direction and recommended!
Wonderful, how they left the water in the ice of the last ice age is a
deep gorge cut into the mountains. Well constructed wooden bridge work, provides
for good committed "path" is not suitable for buggies because many stairs / steps.
All in all, we have a wonderful holiday behind us. We have a lot to
walking, even with poor weather, many pastures easily accessible.
'Ice creams' clever' (brand of Billa) are delicious, especially the 'Erdbeere' cornetto's.
Fam. Crane.

April 26, 2005, Maud
We have a great week in Maria Alm had (end of March 2005).
A good tip is the ticket for the whole of Salzburg, so we skied every day somewhere else, in the most beautiful snow.
The apartment was great, well equipped and very cozy.
We are happy to come back!

February 14, 2005, Fam Van Tricht

Angela and family.
For us it was a step into the unknown but now we praise this comfortable apartment.
Skiing in optimal conditions and in the evening, tired but satisfied the Schlossberg arrive.
Since an après ski drink in the cozy lounge overlooking the slopes and the impressive snow machines prepare for another day of skiing fun.
And we benefit from our cooking (because the kitchen is really everything), we enjoy a hot shower because high pressure valve?? (Or whatever you call something) works really relaxing.
What more could you want?
This is more than a holiday.

August 25, 2004, Family Sniekers

Dear Angela,
as promised here the reaction over the holiday in Maria Alm.
The house we really enjoyed. The equipment was more than complete.
Furthermore, it is a beautiful place and its surroundings, it was for us a very
other holiday (normally we are beach people) spent quite active
with hiking, biking and sightseeing. Especially we found Salzburg
a very nice place. Perhaps in future we again contact
record for a holiday or a winter in Hospitalet in Maria Alm.
We have some pictures that I will mail appart (then the
slightly smaller files).
Thanks for the good preparation for your side and maybe another

Short Family

Dear Angela,
Last spring we went with our children in Maria Alm, in the apartment.
We really enjoyed to us, both the environment and the apartment we liked. We had good weather and there was much snow on the slopes.
Maria Alm is also a nice ski resort, especially for the kids and not too far advanced. Although they can have fun at the Aberg and away.
Your apartment was certainly fine. Ice and weather permitting we even hope to be back next year (same time same place, say). It is a very spacious apartment, well heated, lots of kitchen stuff, good beds, separate skiraum, etc.
In short, a must!
