WINTER SPORTS IN KÖNIGSLEITEN:
Our apartment is located on the edge of the cozy and child-friendly ski village of Königsleiten in the Zillertal Arena with 155 km of snow-sure slopes (Königsleiten/Gerlos/Zell am Ziller/Gerlosplatte). Ski in, ski out! Königsleiten is located at an altitude of 1,600 meters, so snow is guaranteed! ❄️
Ski lifts, slopes, practice slope, ski schools, Spar supermarket, restaurants, bars and après ski within walking distance. Two cars can be parked in the carport. The first descent is a 50-meter walk from the apartment. If there is enough snow, skiing to the apartment is possible.

SUMMER IN KÖNIGSLEITEN
In summer there is a lot to do in Königsleiten and the surrounding area. Take the Dorfbahn in Königsleiten up for wonderful walks, or the Isskogel in Gerlos. Visit the Grossglockner, the Krimmler Wasserfälle, Sigmund-Thun Klamm and Liechtensteinklamm. And the many beautiful hiking and mountain bike trails, some of which start at the apartment. The Tauernradweg is recommended, possibly in combination with the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn.
Don't forget a visit to the Hintertux or Kaprun glacier and the Hohe Tauern National Park. And from Königsleiten you can already see the Durlaßboden reservoir, where you can swim and enjoy water sports such as surfing, paddle boarding, canoeing and fishing. There is also a beautiful walk around the lake of about 11 kilometers.
Cycling and mountain biking are also excellent options in Wald-Königsleiten. The Zillertal Arena is known as the Bike Arena; In total, there are 325 kilometers from Salzburg's Pinzgau to the Tyrolean Zillertal that can be covered by bike.
Rental of E-bikes is possible from various bicycle rental companies.
In short, you won't get bored in Königsleiten, even in the summer.
