This brand new, modern and detached holiday chalet is made for those who love space, tranquility and an unobstructed view. The chalet is suitable for up to 8 people and is located on a plot of 555 m² on the outskirts of the small-scale village of Gundersheim (approx. 300 inhabitants), in the sunny Gailtal in Carinthia (Austria). From almost every place in and around the house you can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley and the surrounding mountains, with the impressive Carnic Alps as an eye-catcher. Large windows, a spacious terrace and a balcony ensure that the view here is not "on the side", but really part of your stay.
The location is also ideal: centrally located between the regions of Pressegger See–Nassfeld, Weissensee and the Lesachtal. This makes the chalet a perfect base for varied trips in every season: from hiking, mountain biking and swimming in the lakes to skiing, ice skating, cross-country skiing or winter hiking. Extra nice: the winter hiking trail and the famous Gailtal Radweg (cycle path) run almost past the chalet. Public transport is also nearby: the (ski) bus/public transport stop is only about 3 minutes walk away.
Inside, you will find stylish comfort and complete equipment: a fully equipped kitchen, a bright living room and four bedrooms with three luxurious bathrooms. The whole chalet has comfortable underfloor heating. In the summer it stays pleasantly cool thanks to outdoor blinds on the ground floor, and all windows and balcony doors are equipped with mosquito nets. There are three bedrooms with comfortable box-spring beds and one bedroom with two fine single beds. An extra plus is the bedroom on the ground floor with bathroom en suite: ideal for guests who like short walking routes or have difficulty walking. In each bathroom you can enjoy a wonderful rain shower and there is also a bath for extra relaxation. Even after an active day, you can completely unwind here in the private infrared sauna — with a view of the mountains.
Terrace and balcony are the perfect places to enjoy: breakfast in the morning sun, drinks at sunset and simply dream away at the wide, unobstructed panorama of the Gailtal and the surrounding mountains. The terrace on the west side borders directly on the meadow and the valley, making it extra quiet and wonderfully free. The garden will be further landscaped in the spring of 2026. There may still be occasional construction and finishing activity in the area; Usually guests experience little or no inconvenience from this. In short: a luxurious, comfortable place where peace, nature and privacy come together.
