There are 2 apartments on the ground floor, suitable for 12 people. A family bedroom with bunk beds and 2 pers. bed and 1 bedroom with 2 pers. bed, tastefully decorated in an authentic way on the 1st floor.
The 2nd apartment also has a family bedroom with 2 pers. bed and 2x 1pers. bed.And a bedroom downstairs for 2 people.
The kitchens are fully equipped, such as an oven and dishwasher, and there is a cozy Austrian dining area where you can relax after dinner or where the children can play games.
The living rooms each have 2 leather 3-seater sofas (no sofa beds) and a TV with DVD player with all Dutch channels. There are DVDs, books and games for you to use.
There is also wireless internet.
The walk-in showers are completely new (2014), as is the toilet, which is in a separate room.
It is a house where the old atmosphere of the past is still very much palpable and visible.
You may use the garden.
Located next to a church and next to it is a very good and affordable restaurant with cafe, where you can also pick up food.
Can be rented for large groups of up to 12 people. 2 apartments are located next to each other and can be turned into 1 large apartment by means of a connecting door.
If you are interested, there is a private apres-ski cafe, only for Alpentraum guests, where you can listen to music.

Quiet location in the middle of a pleasant mountain village. 10 minutes from Lake Millstättersee and 10 minutes from the largest ski area (103 km of well-groomed slopes) in Carinthia.
Tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, it's all possible. Even more spectacular: while you're here, book a 'husky safari', a sled ride with Arctic dogs.
Skaters can indulge themselves on the Weissensee.

A wonderful walking area, all clearly signposted. The Mühlwanderweg is a fun route for young and old. 5min. from the house. A mountain river runs along and there are many seats, play equipment and BBQ areas that you can use for free, including wood.
The village is located on the edge where the Nock Mountains begin.
Cycling and mountain bike routes are also indicated. You can rent (electric) E-bikes and E-mountain bikes in the village. All routes are indicated.
You can also purchase a Kärnten card. Many discounts on attractions or even free, such as the lifts, boat trips on the Millstättersee.

NOW WITH SKI STORAGE SERVICE! If you decide to come back, we can offer you the ski storage service. We store your skis and boots warm and dry. They will be waiting for you, waxed and sharpened, upon your return. No more dragging your belongings to and from the winter sports!

11-3-2014 Relaxing environment, beautiful house, spacious, wonderful shower, beautiful view, WiFi, nice handy kitchen, dishwasher, small shop around the corner, ordered fresh rolls every morning, reached the ski area in no time, good host and hostess , nice ideas for skiing and walking and tobogganing from the host and hostess, large shops nearby, nice dinner at the neighbor's house (Gasthof), Dutch television channels, campfire.

It was a great week! Enjoyed a wonderful time in a wonderful place!

8-1-2014 Our stay in Alpentraum was wonderful: the apartment is very tastefully decorated, very clean and has a luxurious bathroom. You immediately get a typical Austrian feeling when you enter.
The village of Kaning is quiet, with very friendly people who greet you and chat with you. The view from the apartment is beautiful: snow-capped mountain peaks, Austrian country houses and beautiful skies. Thirty meters away is a small supermarket, very handy. The house where the apartment is located has an interesting history that goes back 300 years. It feels like coming home, and is absolutely not touristy.
The owners, John and Rozanne, are very hospitable, friendly and helpful. On New Year's Eve we received delicious, freshly baked Dutch oliebollen... :)
In short: a wonderful place to relax. And, also for skiing of course.
