Waking up with a view of snow-capped peaks or blooming alpine meadows, 200 metres from the mountain lift and being in three countries at the same time within a few steps: Welcome to our luxury holiday apartment in Carinthia, in a unique location at the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia. Here your day starts with a mountain hike with coffee and apple strudel in the Almhütte, continues in Slovenian nature and ends after a "cucina regional" dinner relaxing in your own hot tub or barrel sauna with a view of the mountains.

Whether you are looking for an active winter sports holiday directly on the family slopes, a summer family holiday at international lakes, or hiking fun in the fresh mountain air in spring or autumn: this house is the perfect starting point for every season.

Luxury and comfort in a prime location

Our recently built holiday home is fully equipped:

• South-facing garden with veranda, terraces and balcony

• Private hot & cold tub with panoramic views (no full swamp pool)

• Authentic barrel sauna (adventurous overnight stays are also possible for children!)

• Ceramic BBQ and fire pit

• Attractive décor with attention to detail

Within a five-minute walk you are at the mountain lift or on an alpine path. The supermarket is just around the corner and within 20–30 minutes you can reach the most beautiful lakes, ski resorts and nature parks in all three countries.

Summer, spring & autumn – Active and relaxed

From April/May to October, this area is a paradise for hikers, cyclists and water lovers.

• Hiking: direct access to numerous trails in Austria, Slovenia (Triglav National Park) and Italy (Fusine, Orrido della Sliza)

• Cycling: around the lakes or along the gentle Drau Valley, or join the impressive Ciclovia Alpe Adria, an international cycle route that leads from Salzburg to the Mediterranean Sea – right through our valley

• Swimming: crystal clear lakes such as the Faakersee, Wörthersee, Lago del Predil and Lake Jasna

• Adventure: canoeing on the Drau or kayaking, rafting or mountain biking in Kranjska Gora or further into the Soca Valley

• For children: climbing parks, natural swimming pools and the stream with waterfall directly behind the house

A day less active? Drive the panoramic Villacher Alpenstrasse, visit Villach or shop in Ljubljana or Klagenfurt.

Winter – Ski-in, sauna-out

In winter you can step straight from the house onto the family slope (200m) with ski rental and ski school.

• Family-friendly skiing on Dreiländereck

• More challenging slopes in Nassfeld (110 km), Gerlitzen, Tarvisio or Kransjka Gora

• Extensive cross-country skiing routes in Austria (walking distance),  but also Italy and Slovenia

• After a day in the snow: relax in your hot tub or sauna
