We have been coming to this fantastic island regularly for over 25 years, and 20 years ago we even emigrated. When we had the opportunity to buy this fantastic place, we didn't hesitate for a moment.

Caya Luna Apartments consists of 3 apartments/casitas, a tropical garden, a tap bar and of course a swimming pool.

We live next door to the apartments and make sure you lack nothing.

See you at Cayaluna!!

A famous attraction was the Natural Bridge in Aruba. This was the longest natural bridge in the Caribbean. On 2 September 2005, the bridge collapsed. Yet to visit the natural bridge worth. The smaller natural bridges are next to the collapsed bridge is still present and illustrate how it was. In addition, the drive to the bridge is definitely recommended.

Gold Mines of Bushiribana. Aruba gets its name from the legend that wanted there on the island ruba oro (Spanish for 'black gold') was found. Red gold is never found, or yellow gold, in 1824 to be exact. Who here wants to smell that glorious time, will visit the abandoned gold mines Bushiribana. Now only remains, but at the time accounted for more than 3 million pounds of gold.

The Natural Pool is certainly an attraction. Along the rocky north coast of the island is located, shielded by rocks an isolated stretch of coast. The high waves smashing against the rocks, the Natural Pool filled with water directly from the sea. The Natural Pool is accessible only to a good Jeep or horseback.

Another attraction is the Alto Vista Chapel. The location for the chapel is at least remarkable: a spacious 70 meter high limestone hill on the rugged north coast. The Indians were the first foundations laid for the church, after which over the years undergone several metamorphoses. Today the building with its characteristic yellow chapel more beautiful than ever and enjoys the reputation as the Pilgrimage Chapel. You reach the place of peace and meditation via a winding road, which as a symbol of the Cross is flanked by white crosses. The view from the hill is very worthwhile.

The Ayo Rock Formations is one of the greatest mysteries of Aruba, once the residence of the original islanders, the Arowak Indians. As if some magic power the rocks in this otherwise sandy area has ever stacked on each other. Until today scientists must remain guilty of the statement.

Aruba may be dry, the weather does not migratory birds of the island as a stopover to take in their journey. The Bubali Vogelmeer to be exact, which consists of two interconnected artificial lakes exist. Caves

Once in the caves of Aruba, there is little need for imagination to imagine that these were once the hideout for pirates. There are several. There is the holy Lourdes Grotto in Seroe Pretu near San Nicolas. Who has something more daring, step-Guadirikiri the cave, where two rooms with sunlight seemed responsible for one of the most photogenic places in Aruba. The small alhier fifty meters long tunnel is home to hundreds of bats. Most popular is the Fountain cave, because the petroglyphs of the Arowak Indians, the earliest inhabitants of the island.

Also, Ford Zoutman certainly worth a visit to apply. In earlier times, one never knew what was looming threat from the sea. If the defense built Arubans in 1796 so fort. The fortress - the oldest building in Aruba - received in 1868 the company of the Willem III Tower and offers after a thorough restoration in 1974, also houses the Historical Museum.

On a clear day you can from the top of the haystack Venezuela see it.

California Lighthouse is the only lighthouse on the island and lies on the northwestern tip of the island. The lighthouse is named after the steamship California, which sank on September 23, 1891. The lighthouse was built of stone and has a height of 30 meters. From the spot where the lighthouse has a beautiful view. Besides the lighthouse is in the old lighthouse keeper's house the restaurant La Trattoria el Faro Blanco established.
The beaches of Aruba are among the finest in the world, which together eleven kilometers long. Each beach has its own charm. All beaches, including those at hotels, are freely accessible. Sun loungers and parasols on the beaches at the hotels are reserved for hotel guests. In the high season offer sufficient space to quietly clean beaches of the clear azure sea, the palms and the warm sunshine to enjoy. The beaches on the north side of the island are not suitable for quiet sunbathing. Also on the east side of the island's beaches are wild and rugged off. This is due to the sharp wind from the Atlantic Ocean.
On the south side of the island, however, you have the pearly white beaches. Here are the hotels, restaurants and tourists and this is the place to be for beach lovers. The coastline is divided into two beaches: Eagle Beach and Palm Beach. Eagle Beach is a nice beach where a lot of Europeans are. Palm Beach is the state where the Americans go. Large hotels and luxury dominate the coastline here.

Arashi Beach is a white sandy beach. A perfect place for swimming and snorkeling.
Malmok Beach consists of several small sandy beaches between rocky coast further. These rocks are covered with rich corals and offer a good, sheltered environment for the many fish that live there. A nice place for snorkeling or diving.
