This year for the third time at Villa Orchidea! What a nice and beautiful house. Upon arrival we immediately feel at home again and we can enjoy our holiday from minute 1.

Beautiful house, neatly maintained beautiful garden, lovely swimming pool, close to busy seaside resort of Rethymnon. Good to do if you rent a car. Friendly and fast communication with landlord. We had a great holiday week.

The house met our expectations in every way: all facilities were present, very well maintained and very clean.
Rhethymnon and the sea are nearby, a car is needed.
Recommended!

Villa Orchidea, what a wonderful holiday we have had here. The villa has everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. The tranquility in the area, the lovely swimming pool. And within 15 minutes in Rethymno city. Being able to make nice trips. In short, highly recommended.

For us Villa Orchidea was just perfect. Clean, Tidy and secluded but not too isolated. Position is rural, a few minutes inland and is within an Olive grove, with just a handful of others. You are in the real Greece but within r...

For us Villa Orchidea was just perfect. Clean, Tidy and secluded but not too isolated. Position is rural, a few minutes inland and is within an Olive grove, with just a handful of others. You are in the real Greece but within reach of good facilities and some charming villages and tavernas. The Villa, pool and gardens are so relaxing it is difficult to tear yourselves away. I doubt anyone would be disappointed.
The South of the Island is also within reach and so the position is ideal.
A car is a must and access is narrow and bumpy!!
Monique was so helpful and we had no issues at all.

There is also a beautiful garden, beautiful views from the roof terrace, several nice places in the garden and a lovely swimming pool. Good contact with friendly owner (and caretaker). Highly recommended for a wonderful holiday on beautiful Crete.

We spent 2 weeks in the May holiday enjoying the villa and the island of Crete. The villa is exactly what you would expect and doable for a family of 4, with 2 children (4 and 6 years). The pool was especially a party for the eldest, unfortunately the water is not heated, but as long as the sun shines it is doable. TIP -> bring life jackets/wristbands as long as the children do not have a swimming certificate. The contact with the landlord was excellent and in terms of location you have the beach on the north side close by (15 minutes by car), but also the beaches on the south side (beautiful, secluded and diverse) are easily accessible with just over a 60-minute drive. In short, highly recommended!
