We stayed in this house for a week. As mentioned in previous comments: the house covers all the basic needs, but don't expect luxury. The location is fantastic: very quiet with a beautiful view. You will find some sights in the area, but most nice towns are a 45-60 minute drive away. Because of its location in the middle of nature, you can expect the necessary insects. We also found a black scorpion in the kitchen. Doesn't do anything else, but if you have children, you have to pay attention. The swimming pool may not have a name, it is more like a plunge pool that is eagerly used by wasps as a drinking trough. The communication with Hubert went well, sometimes it took a while before we got a response. All in all a nice house in a nice area. Negatives: the road to the house (really not nice for the suspension), parking (all very tight, turning is a drama) and the mess (construction/demolition waste?) here and there. Although the latter may be part of local tradition.

Vila Pengari is beautifully situated with a fabulous view. Pengari itself is a lovely little village with super nice sweet entrepreneurs. However, most sights and coastal towns are at least an hour's drive away.

Vila Pengari is beautifully situated with a fabulous view. Pengari itself is a lovely little village with super nice sweet entrepreneurs. However, most sights and coastal towns are at least an hour's drive away.
The vila itself is very spacious and has all the amenities but gave us a "basic" feel and not a "lux" feel as the photos made us suspect. There were also quite a lot of mosquitoes and small harmless scorpions in the house, but that means the location of the Vila in full nature. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful holiday with our family and our 3 dogs.

Supermarket near Buzet. Lidl can be found in Pazin.
Zipline done in Pazin. What an adventure.
Beautiful sea and beach within driving distance.
All in all a wonderful holiday! Highly recommended.

Hubert has been very friendly and attentive from the beginning to the end. We had two wonderful weeks with three teenagers with a nice swimming pool at our disposal. Because it is the last house, you are very private. I loved that there were a lot of books to read. The house is actually fully equipped. In short, we can absolutely recommend this!

Beautiful authentic house, quietly located in the middle of nature. The house is in original style and everything is there for a wonderful holiday. The contact with Hubert was great.
