Villa Pengari

Villa Pengari has been restored preserving the Istrian style and many of the original and artistic elements that we found in the ruins have been preserved as much as possible in the renovation, such as an old workbench, large fireplace and the original insulation tiles and roof tiles. We were very kindly received by the Croatian villagers in 2004 who helped us a lot with this project, making Villa Pengari really feel like our second home.

Due to its location at the end of the village, in the shape of a ribbon and where only a few people live, the house is very private and completely surrounded by nature with a beautiful view of the Mirna valley. At the same time, it is easy to do your shopping in nearby Buzet.

There is also a swimming pool which forms a beautiful whole with the rest of the rustic atmosphere. In 2023, the swimming pool and downstairs terrace with pergola will be completely renovated. There will also be internet/wifi from July 2023.

From Pengari, the beautiful north of the Istrian inland can easily be visited, such as Buzet, Motovun, Groznjan and Oprtalj, and from the house you can make beautiful bike rides and walks. And of course the sea is never far away in Istria.
