We arrived from Düsseldorf to Split, when we arrived there was a taxi waiting for us for transport to Makarska>That was arranged by ERNA.dat was our neighbor and point of contact who knows everything about Croatia On her advice, we went with a unimog, in this case with a twelve-person car, to take a ride through the mountains with Ivo.
We went to the island of Brac where the owners of our apartment were. that was a very nice introduction, we were picked up by WILLEM at the Ferry and got an explanation of how the quarries used to work with dynamite and now saw with chains Yes Willem, I did pay attention.
After an unprecedented nice reception, we had a nice drink at Willem and Marian's.
where Willem told us about his passion for figs and we tasted a few drinks from his own distillery Willem, that dark red drink we still dream of. At the end of the day, Willem took us back to the ferry.

The apartment was beautiful, nice big balcony where we sat and had breakfast in the morning.

Questions we asked were always answered quickly.
In the morning there was sometimes some commotion from the downstairs neighbors in the beginning, but after indicating this to our contact person, it was quickly over👍🏼😃
But what a beautiful area with lots of fun things to do.
Delicious restaurants and nice shops on the boulevard of Makarska.
We enjoyed this holiday.
