Actually, I don't want to post a review, because soon everyone will want to go here hihi. But let's go. Villa Maral is a beautiful house, converted into a few nice apartments and is located in a lovely quiet neighborhood, De Punta. There were 3 of us in nr 5. A small but nice apartment, a bit of privacy in terms of its own terrace and location, but a nice chat with the other guests is also easily made. The owners Willem and Marian live upstairs and are always there for you, they know everything about Brac and give you tips about the island. We were also regularly informed about the situation in advance (especially given the nasty corona time). Very nice and super friendly helpful people. We think the location is perfect, a few different (pebble) beaches in front of the door, wonderfully quiet everywhere. Beautiful clear water, snorkeling is a lot of fun and therefore a lot done. A short 10-minute walk will take you to the harbour of Povlja, with a few restaurants, an ice cream parlor and a small supermarket with fresh rolls. Ideal if you don't feel like cooking, there is always room somewhere on a terrace and certainly reasonable prices.
Willem, thank you for the cool cruise, that was really the icing on the cake, what a lot do you know about Brac, a bit of history, the weather and the wind. And oh yes, if I have to mention a small point, a few egg cups would be handy haha. Nice and important but I have to say something anyway :-) We don't often go to the same thing 2x but for Villa Maral we would definitely make an exception. So hope to see you soon dear Willem and Marian, thank you for the hospitality and the wonderful time - which flew by - unfortunately. Kind regards Petra, Jon and Nick.
