We enjoyed everything in El Sueno. What a lovely finca. Everything you need is there and ultimate relaxation is the only thing you can do there. An absolute must.

Peace, space and privacy offer this house for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Splash in the pool and fire up the bbq. By car you can spend a day at the beach in Torre del Mar where you can relax on the boulevard until late in the morning and then return from tourism and drink a glass of wine on your own terrace. We had a fantastic holiday at Finca el Sueno. It is a secluded spot in the mountains, fully equipped. The view is phenomenal and the 'garden' is fun for the kids to discover. Despite the fact that it was very hot in southern Spain (40 degrees), it was more than good with the pool, the air conditioning at night and the fans.

We were able to enjoy this beautiful house, beautiful unspoilt nature and idyllic white villages for 10 days. The owners are very friendly and give useful tips. In short, a gem that we will not soon forget.

Lovely space and wide set up and everything works, plenty of shops downstairs in the village and the sights within driving distance, Communication is fast and very friendly

Super cozy, smooth contact with landlords. Also enough shade at the pool, ideal for reading a book or children. Just a pity bedroom upstairs no air conditioning. Thx for nice 10 days enjoy.

This beautiful house is the perfect place for those who are looking for a comfortable and idyllic base from which to discover this surprisingly beautiful region.
Places like Cordoba, Camores, Motril and of course Granada w...

This beautiful house is the perfect place for those who are looking for a comfortable and idyllic base from which to discover this surprisingly beautiful region.
Places like Cordoba, Camores, Motril and of course Granada with its Alhambra are very easily accessible on challenging routes with breathtaking views.
Torre del Mal with its beach and lots of nice eateries is half an hour's drive away.
So please note that everything will have to be done by car, the finca is quite high on the mountain and certainly not within walking distance of the places mentioned.
The town nearby, where you will find a delicious bakery, a good butcher and a supermarket, can be reached -again by car- in just 5 minutes. Walking is also not recommended for this.

You can find tasty and fun food in many places. In the lakeside hotel nearby, in Torre del Mar, such as at the hip chirinquita's Berbere Oasis de Mar and Bahia Beach Jazba.
But cooking yourself in the well-equipped kitchen or on your own terrace with a nice gas barbecue is just as fantastic.
Eating here with such a view over the valley to the sea deserves a 10!
We would like to mention the lower swimming pool.
What a delight to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet here in complete privacy (actually applies to the entire house and yard). The olive trees and two large umbrellas offer the opportunity to find shade all day long.
With a cooling breeze (and a glass of Albarino) it is just difficult to get out of here.

We read about the mosquitoes...
There certainly are.
But, if you keep the house closed in the evening and use the fans and/or the excellent working air conditioners for the night, there is nothing to worry about.

Practical tip: Don't do too many groceries on arrival. It is best to buy only fresh produce.
In our case, the kitchen was already richly equipped with all kinds of necessities.

The contact with owner Corinne is very pleasant and valuable. She thinks in the best interests of her guests and communicates in a very friendly way.
You just feel right at home here!

The view is stunning! Really enjoy when the weather is nice. Other pluses are the spacious bedrooms, the swimming pool, the two neat bathrooms and the nice terrace outside. We were less enthusiastic about the lack of a table inside where you can eat with the five of you and a place where you can sit comfortably with the five of you (there is no living room besides a veranda). We had some cold and wet days so it was very cold inside, in the veranda and in the bedrooms. Take into account the many mosquitoes, we used the mosquito nets but the mosquitoes seemed to come from everywhere. Inside the house is neat, outside and around the house we found it messy and because of the peeling stucco it looks a bit outdated. Our tip is to do something about the dishwasher, which is difficult to open and close (it jams).
The contact with the landlord was pleasant, very nice to get some practical information on our travel day and when we missed some bedding it was solved the same day.

We had wonderful weeks at Finca El Sueno in the spring. The view is magnificent and the house very nice. Close to nice towns and the coast. The temptation to stay on the terrace was sometimes very great, so we didn't watch everything that was on our program. We did visit the Tejeda National Park. There is a 4.5 km walk. from Alcaucin to Alcazar, the higher recreation and picnic area. Well worth it!
