On arrival and departure we had brief contact with landlords, this was quite distant and impersonal.
Beautiful house, state-of-the-art gadgets and sustainable amenities. Spacious bedrooms and lots of closet space. Pleasantly warm in all rooms. The hot water was turned up a bit for us because otherwise the bath water would not come up to temperature, showers were fine.
A short distance (8 min drive) supermarket, bakery and gas station. Endless hiking opportunities. There is a beautiful circular walk that passes by the church which is to the left of the house.
The information about the sauna was incorrect. It was said to be warm within 15 minutes but this takes an hour minimum. Also, the door to the sauna is broken and you have to lift it, the doorknobs are made of metal so that's piping hot, there was an oven glove.
The terrace is not watertight, the sliding doors are defective, causing water to enter. This was too cold to sit in the winter, but important for spring/summer, there is some water damage visible.

Thank you very much for your review of our villa.
We do regret that in your review you mention a number of maintenance matters that are not correct in our opinion (we are currently staying in the villa and have seriously checked your comments) or were already commissioned by the contractor due to construction defects. This mainly concerns the terrace and the roof construction of the greenhouse that is leaking. The sliding doors are absolutely not defective and work properly. We can imagine that you are bothered by the water damage on the terrace beam. Then so do we. But this is also part of the assignment to the contractor who has to make the roof structure watertight (warranty).
As far as the sauna is concerned, the contractor had already been instructed to replace the doorknob with a wooden doorknob. Likewise, he must repair the door of the sauna, guarantee.
However, you also say that the heating of the sauna takes longer than 15 minutes. We tried the sauna ourselves yesterday and again it got hot within 15 minutes. What caused this to take longer for you remains a matter of conjecture.
Have you discussed this with the administrator?
