Do you want to rest, enjoy, but also do something in the area? Then go to Joffreny! On a beautiful estate in terms of nature, you are very welcome at Hans and Alexandrine's. Relax in the lovely swimming pool, go out in the area with charming villages, where you can kayak, climb, see castles etc. The gite is fully equipped.

Very nice and unique holiday home (converted barn to a chateau) located on a fantastic and large domain that is perfectly maintained (see attached photos). The décor of the house was ideal for our family with four teenagers: two bathrooms, two living rooms and four bedrooms offers enough space for everyone. We could easily keep the house cool even on very hot days and at night it cools down well. The kitchen is small, but sufficient to prepare simple meals. For the teenagers, there was good Wi-Fi everywhere.

The garden with large pool and the courtyard garden are great. There are more than enough sunbeds by the pool, and it is well maintained. The courtyard garden has a high-quality wooden garden table and other furniture. There are many shady spots so you can eat outside at any time of the day.

The location is very rural and quiet. The neighboring villages of Chalus and Bussiere-Galant are not that much, especially in terms of restaurants there is not much to do. There are a number of fun activities in the vicinity, but for many trips you can easily travel 30 to 60 minutes by car.

The friendly owners live in the chateau on the same domain, but there is plenty of privacy. They are easily accessible when you need them, and invisible in all other cases, so perfect as far as we are concerned.

We had a great holiday here, and can heartily recommend Chateau Joffreny!

We had a great holiday. Were very kindly received by the owners. There was also some goodies ready.
