About Diana
Speaks the languages: English and Dutch. We are Gerard and Diana, the owners of "Bij Gerdia" and live in the Netherlands. We realized our dream, our own home in the country of birth of Diana, in 2015. We have chosen this house because of its charm, the safe neighborhood and authentic atmosphere. We have taken 2 years to completely renovate the house. We completed this process in 2017 and immediately created our dream home. One where the thought makes a smile on our faces. Once a year we are in Suriname to keep feeling with our house and to celebrate holidays with family and friends. We then inhabit the upstairs apartment which is largely made of wood. The ground floor is entirely of stone. We inspect and improve the entire house itself. If we are not there, then our contact person / manager looks after our business.
