Very charming, you go back in time but with contemporary comfort and very cozy. Excellent reception by hostess Lysbeth. Booked "table d'hôte" the evening of arrival: highly recommended, good food without looking for an appropriate resto. Ste-Marie doesn't offer a lot of possibilities either, rather faded glory. However, it is excellently located to explore the beautiful region. Sélestat and Colmar are well worth a visit. Also the wine route: very tasty Riesling and Sylvaner bought at friendly prices. Do! We wish you the best of luck with the further expansion of your B&B, Lysbeth and Frank.

We enjoyed using the apartment for 11 nights. It was nice to be able to sit in the large garden at the end of a hot day. The place is a good base to do all kinds of things, e.g. visit the wine villages and take beautiful walks ...

We enjoyed using the apartment for 11 nights. It was nice to be able to sit in the large garden at the end of a hot day. The place is a good base to do all kinds of things, e.g. visit the wine villages and take beautiful walks in the woods. The area also offers nice restaurants. Nice that there is a supermarket nearby and a good bakery around the corner.

Had a beautiful, sunny holiday for two weeks. Alsace was new to us, we enjoyed the beautiful places and villages, the mountains, museums and the possibilities that the area offers. The owners are very friendly and accessible, the apartment is very spacious and stays nice and cool in hot weather.
Apart from the surroundings, we enjoyed the beautiful, quiet, cool, huge garden!! A lovely place to have a quiet breakfast with a view of the mountain meadows, read a book, bbq etc.

Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines is a very good base for the top-10 sites to visit. The house is centrally located in the town with the bakery around the corner. After passing through a large entrance gate you enter the apartment through a courtyard and behind it a very large beautiful authentic garden with very old large trees. Really to unwind. The apartment is very spacious, simple but tastefully decorated and for me not entirely unimportant: an exceptionally good WIFI network far into the garden.
The hosts Lysbeth and her husband are extremely friendly and service-minded. Highly recommended and definitely to come back again.
