We were approached friendly and interested by Rob and Julia. Rob gave us some tips on what to do and see in the area. We had a great time there. The surroundings are beautiful and you can make many trips in nature and in the numerous nice villages and towns.
The apartment A was for us, family of 4 sufficiently spacious and adequately equipped. Maybe as a tip to provide the TV with NL channels or to make the WiFi a little more powerful, because NL TV on the iPad sometimes faltered. Household is fine.
Swimming pool is of course lovely under the sunny conditions. However, due to the privacy of the landlords and tenants of apartment B, it is open from 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. The garden that has been made available for apartment A is located on a fairly busy road. Road users often do not take the speed limit very seriously and that caused quite a bit of noise nuisance during breakfast and in the evening. We were often away during the day, so that didn't bother us very much. If you spend a whole day in the garden, loud noise from traffic is not exactly soothing. Maybe they should install more high speed bumps on the road, because the French government elsewhere in the village knows how to deal with that!
Mandelieu is quite busy in the summer, in my opinion. Lots of traffic. By the way, escape is perfectly doable. Parking by the sea is doable, but you have to get there early or go later in the day. Fortunately, there are also free parking options!

The Côte d'Azur is a busy holiday destination that is of course not as quiet during the high season as the interior of Norway where you were earlier this summer. Our house is centrally located on the coast, just a few kilometers away from beaches, restaurants, terraces, shops, supermarket, many sights and opportunities for various activities. During the high season, the traffic intensity on the coast, especially around 7 p.m., is higher than normal. Many tourists come home from their trips around this time or make their way to a restaurant or activity for the evening.
The beautiful sandy beaches, nice restaurants and cozy terraces in Mandelieu are well visited. The free parking spaces a few meters away from the beach do not remain unoccupied for long in high season, The large free parking lot opposite the Pullman hotel (a few minutes' walk to the beach) is only rarely completely full. In the summer months, you can also use the free shuttle bus "Mimo Plage" if desired.
