We have been in Portugal from 18-11-201 to 26-11-2021. Cottage rented through Micazu. We rented Casa Horta 14. In Olhos de Áqua (Albufeira).

We have been in Portugal from 18-11-201 to 26-11-2021. Cottage rented through Micazu. We rented Casa Horta 14. In Olhos de Áqua (Albufeira).
Beautiful cottage, nicely situated in a very spacious garden. Everything we needed was there. Only the shower tray was leaking.
Less fun were the peripheral phenomena:
- Regularly without water. As a result, no shower and no toilet. Water for the toilet, taken from the pool with a bucket.
Friday 19-4 called regularly all day, no contact.
- 2x Without hot water. (central boiler off). We couldn't fix this ourselves.
- Moderate or no WiFi.
- Once upon returning home in the evening, no light pole it on the property. As a result, the electric entrance gate did not work either. Leave the car on the side of the street overnight.
- We had a telephone number which was available 24/7 according to the brochure. But called on Sunday for the electrical failure, never been able to get in touch.
- For us next time, no more Casa Horta, too bad.

We (2 adults, 1 child of 5 years) have been here for 6 nights. The site is well maintained, lots of greenery and plenty of space. We didn't have hot water on arrival, but as soon as we reported it was fixed. The pool was very clean and also the cottage had no defects. The only thing I missed was some standard spices (salt/pepper/sugar etc.), but that's a small thing.

The location is also perfect, but a (rental) car is necessary, especially with children. It is located on a relatively quiet road, just a few minutes' drive from the center and several beaches. We enjoyed!

Very friendly staff, weekly cleaning and fresh towels every other day. Delicious oranges from the "own" garden. Casa da Horta is centrally located in the Algarve. Beach and restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Supermarkets 20 mi...

Very friendly staff, weekly cleaning and fresh towels every other day. Delicious oranges from the "own" garden. Casa da Horta is centrally located in the Algarve. Beach and restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Supermarkets 20 minutes by car. A comeback!
