Contact with landlord in NL and local manager very friendly and smooth. Upon arrival, it is a bit of a search. There are no signs. Directions would be helpful. The resort is beautiful with a lovely swimming pool. Friendly security guards at the barrier. The cottage is at the end of a cul-de-sac on the resort. You can park under cover on the side. The view is beautiful. There is a lot of mosquitoes, but that is on the whole island. So buy mosquito repellent and keep the bedroom doors tightly closed at all times. The terrace is fully exposed to the sun from noon. It was too hot for us to sit outside, but fortunately the two separate standing fans brought cooling. The holiday home is fully equipped; Cool box, ice packs, beach towels, sun loungers, towels, full kitchen inventory, dishwasher, 2 x hair dryer, everything is provided. Kitchen inventory was not left too clean by the previous tenants. The dryer is defective (no problem, in the sun on the drying rack everything dries in no time) and the washing machine is American, so only washes with cold water. So we just rinsed clothes by hand. We found the mattresses of both double beds (one of which is extra wide) very comfortable. The cushions were also good. The air conditioning in the bedrooms also works fine. In short: a wonderful holiday home!

We are very happy with the feedback we received. Still, a brief response. We send every guest an information letter with directions to the resort. Apparently, that has not been well received. We will describe this even more clearly in the info. Indeed, the navigation apps do not appear to indicate the correct route. Fortunately, these guests have left our apartment very well. Everything was super clean. We will pay even more attention to ensuring that the kitchen inventory is also left clean. We hope that all our tenants will also pay attention to this themselves.
It is indeed hot on Curaçao. That's one of the many reasons why we love coming there. Lovely temperatures and usually a nice sea breeze. There is a large electrically powered awning on the terrace. Together with the fans, it is easy to endure all day below. Especially with a delicious drink. Indeed, on a tropical island, mosquitoes are everywhere. These are only available during the twilight periods. Morning and evening. A good mosquito lotion with "deed" works wonders.
We thank our guests for the constructive feedback and the appreciation for our apartment. Thank you very much for renting, leaving the house neat and tidy and the very pleasant contact.
