A beautiful location. Lovely so close to the lake with its own beach, canoe and sup-board rental. Convenience store within walking distance (with delicious ice cream). Children could use an adjacent football field. The Hogervor...

Great experience overall, beautiful and practical design house with plenty of space and fully furnished. Nice quiet location with a view of forest and lake (where can you see a moose with two young calves walking by from your terrace?). The lake is clean,
good for swimming, SUP and of course ample kayaking with different routes. Owners very hospitable and extremely helpful to make you have a beautiful holiday. Come here for peace and quiet but also for water activities. A holiday where you can
sets the pace.

We had a great stay in Agundaborg. Roos and Simon are great hosts, with plenty suggestions on things to do in the area. Nice house with a gorgeous view over the lake, just a few meters away. The kitchen had all we possibly nee...

We had a great stay in Agundaborg. Roos and Simon are great hosts, with plenty suggestions on things to do in the area. Nice house with a gorgeous view over the lake, just a few meters away. The kitchen had all we possibly needed. The first night was pouring rain and windy, but you could barely tell by being inside, warm and quiet there. Fully immersed in nature, with the comfort of staying in a home. Getting up in the morning and seeing two deers strolling around just outside the window was just the cherry on the cake for our stay. Planning to come back again, for a longer stay and to get out on the lake.

A nice feeling of welcome with Simon, Roos and the children.
Sweden is beautiful and this house near Agundaborg is amazing.
Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

The area has many possibilities.
The Kemsley family rents out canoes, rowing boats, kayaks and sub boarding.
There are many walking and cycling routes in the area.
Halmstad on the west coast is 1.15 hours away,
A beautiful old town with walking routes, museums and nice shops.
Vaxjö is a student town with a nice atmosphere at 45 min drive.
Älmhult is the city of Ikea with an Ikea store and Ikea museum, 30 min drive.
The namesake of our plant kingdom, Carl Linnaeus, has a statue in Almhult.
Just outside Älmhult there is a themed garden by Linnaeus.

Lovely house in beautiful place! Comfortable, everything new, everything is there and when you look outside you can see it shimmering more. A lake with its own beach from where you can swim and fish or go supping, canoeing and kayaking via Agundaborg Camp & Paddle. There is also plenty to do in the area (cycling, walking in the many nature reserves, Ikea Museum, shopping and lunch in Ljungby, gardens birthplace Linnaeus, moose safari... just to name a few). But above all, enjoy nature, tranquility and more in and around this super house of Roos and Simon who are there if you need them!

Owners are friendly and helpful. Canoes etc are rented on site. We were allowed to borrow bicycles. Only the Wifi is slow, but who needs that here!?
