Because we don't have children with us, we score low in terms of stars.
We are happy with the large space in and around the house. All facilities are available, while it is still a sober house.

Very nice region, near the lake, beautiful location, lots of space both in and around the house. There is, among other things, a large inflatable boat with which you can enjoy sailing on the lake. An oasis of peace.

A beautiful authentic farmhouse with lots of space in a great region the Morvan. With all the available possibilities, which are included in the house, for walking, cycling, sailing, swimming and much more, you can relax and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We had a very good time with our 2 children and our dog for almost 3 weeks and did not get bored of the nearby lake (lac des Settons) with its relatively large beaches and many small cozy mini beaches.
We had the feeling that the Dutch owner is doing his utmost to convey his enthusiastic feeling about their unique place to us. Reading the guest book, we see that he does that to everyone.

We had a very nice holiday in les Ventres Blues! The owners are very hospitable and we immediately felt at home in the cozy, authentic house. The house has a billiards table and a table tennis table which we used a lot with our children. The house is not small childproof but with some older children, ours are 5 and 9, it was fine. The garden is large and both the house and the garden are perfect for hide and seek. The area is beautifully green, hilly and with beautiful large lakes where you can sail or swim. There are plenty of nice sights to visit such as the waterfall saut de gouloux, mont Beuvray with Roman excavations, the city of Autun with all kinds of historical, Roman, monuments around it, maison du parc etc. The owners have made a folder with information and places of interest which is very useful.
The only thing that was disappointing was the weather, but no one could do anything about it. As a result, I enjoyed making a fire in the fireplace and the cozy living room even more. It is a very authentic French house with a lot of charm and few modern technologies but that is also nice for a change, really a place to relax. We really had a very nice holiday! Thank you Els and Cornie for allowing us to stay in your house!!
