It was a lovely clean, home, host was lovely, however it has no closets which was a bit of a problem. Only drawers in bedroom and a movable coat .. rack, coming from Canada arrived relatively late. Some essentials ie. Coffee filters, coffee, and condiments salt/pepper /sugar etc would be a huge help. In Canada our rentals mostly supply coffee etc.

With good friends (also couple), we go once a year to stay somewhere for a week in a holiday home. Now this year in the "Assenhoekje" in Twente. What a beautiful location, with breathtaking rural views, an oasis of peace, the house exudes "glory", and then it was summery again. Yes dear readers, this stay is the best so far!

Was a week of enjoying and discovering parts of Overijsel. Will definitely come back here.

Despite 14 days of rain, we had a beautiful holiday. The house was comfortable, big. It was nice and quiet. Outside in the meadows adjacent to the garden, a living painting remained: herons, hares, storks, other birds. The last week the cows also came into the adjacent pasture. The owners were friendly, helpful. Recommended!!
