The wonderful peace and quiet was a relief. Cottage well furnished. Neat and complete. Lots of space around the house. Highly recommended for those who can stand the silence. We loved it.

Spacious cottage with all the facilities needed. Very quiet location with a spacious garden where we saw squirrels, hares and a woodpecker. Lots of walking and cycling opportunities.

Upon arrival, the coffee is already ready with some sweets, a flower is also provided.

Upon arrival, the coffee is already ready with some sweets, a flower is also provided.
Nice and quiet location, well located if you like cycling, or walking (but without a dog, many cycle paths where you can't walk quietly, a nature reserve (moor) where you are not allowed to come with the dog, so first a walk where you can go with your dog).
There are plenty of junctions and signposts for cyclists, mountain bikers will also get their money's worth here, three routes in the area.
For the hiker, on the other hand, the local tourist office falls pretty short in my opinion.
No clear routes, no indication of how many kilometers it is, poles end.
At the nature reserve "Bekendellen" you can enjoy walking, but here too, poorly arranged for the hiker.
A detailed walking map of the immediate surroundings and the tourist attractions could be a nice addition.

It is a fantastic bungalow, fully equipped. And it's in a beautiful location.

We are very satisfied with the stay at the Kingfisher. All comfort is available. The surroundings are also beautiful. Friendly people and good restaurants. Wonderful cycling.
