From 12 to 17 October we stayed with 6 people in apartment Catita in Albufeira, Portugal.
Through the site of Micazu we ended up at the apartment. After submitting the reservation request, we immediately came into contact with the Dutch owner, after which the reservation was quickly finalized.
The day before the departure, I was called by the Portuguese contact person on the spot to inquire about our flight details and arrival expectation and how to act when we would arrive at the apartment.
Prior to our stay, everything was neatly arranged.
Upon arrival in Albufeira, an as good as new, very luxuriously furnished apartment was waiting for us. While it undoubtedly meets the qualifications of an apartment, the 'Luxury Villa' qualification would not be out of place here either. The apartment (as we understand it was delivered in the spring of 2017) is characterized by a large living space (living / dining room) with open kitchen. The living and dining area has pleasant furniture with more than enough seating for a group of 6 people. Due to the presence of luxury audio and TV system, the living space is also fully equipped. The kitchen is fully equipped (from coffee maker to wine cabinet) and also fully equipped.
Adjacent to the 'general' living space are three bedrooms and a general toilet. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with its own toilet and shower and/or bath facilities. The luxurious, design style is also clearly reflected in the bathrooms. The existing beds and air conditioning ensure an excellent night's sleep.
From the living room is overlooking the adjoining garden, sea view. The garden (with swimming pool) is available for the apartment complex located above apartment Catitata. The patio of the apartment is shielded from (direct) view from the pool by fence parts. The garden is only accessible to people with access to the apartment complex.
About 50 meters away is a beach bar on a small (non-touristy) beach. During our stay it was not crowded here but provided all the fun and convenience of both the beach and the beach bar nearby.
Restaurants and bars are within a 15-minute walk of the apartment.
We look back on our stay in apartment Catita with great satisfaction, both because of the luxury apartment, its location in relation to commercial establishments and the sea, easy communication around reservations and ultimately an excellent price-quality ratio.
