A 10 for all parts, because if you immediately feel at home in a house far away in the mountains, you know it's good. The house has beautiful views on all sides, it is around the corner by the pool and the supermarket is also nice and close. The house is very clean, well equipped and in the area there is plenty to do. The beds were great, that in combination with the shutters made that we slept wonderfully. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay in this spacious, luxurious and complete house. The children have plenty of space and a garden to play in. The slopes, swimming pool, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Moreover, it was pleasant to communicate with the landlord, which made travel possible in an uncertain period.
We experience Kötschach-Mauthen as a pleasant environment, friendly people and a sunny climate. It's a pity that the location from the Netherlands is a bit far to travel to in high season, but as far as we're concerned, it's worth it with the kids. The Austrian children learn to ski here, in a safe environment, after which they can go to Nassfeld as advanced skiers (about 25 minutes drive). Lienz also has a nice ski area (about 35 min drive).

August 2021 We had a wonderful holiday at Chalet Edelweiss with our family (3 children). Beautiful surroundings, nice swimming pool nearby and plenty of hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The house is clean, well equipped and has good beds. The space around the house is nice in the summer, with 2 lovely places to sit. Unfortunately, we had more than 1 week of moderate weather, and then it is noticeable that the house is quite far from everything. Furthermore, I really liked it, the contact with the landlord is also good.

The chalet is quite nice. Neatly maintained and the location is perfect. Sun, shade and can all be done.
It is also nice that there is a large garden. This is in contrast to the cottages right next door.
