This house is located on the quieter side of the island and the most beautiful beaches are all within easy driving distance. The settlement itself is also quiet and very friendly. On site, an administrator takes care of the instruction for the house and car (he speaks fluent German, Dutch, English and maybe more) and is there around the clock to answer questions. This is our fifth visit at The Driftaway and and our second this year. We had three and a half weeks of wonderful holidays.

The house was very clean and as always, very well equipped. We are very excited, because again several things have changed. The new roofing is finished and looks great. It now offers the possibility to relax in the shade on the terrace. Alisa and Jonathan have also replaced the railings with walls, providing protection from the wind and other shady areas in various places. On the new, very comfortable cushions in the gazebo you can relax wonderfully. Alisa and Jonathan have told us that they have also rebuilt the bed in the small bedroom. Really impressive what you can do! It fits perfectly to the design of the room.

We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much for your loving care! We will definitely be back in 2020!

Super house in a nice place. First week of our stay we were at Pietermaai and we were afraid that it would be boring here at villa park Fontein. But the house with pool was top notch. During the day to all the beautiful beaches up to Westpunt and when you return you can relax on the terrace with a splash in the pool. A small downside was the noise of the air conditioning in the master bedroom.
I would definitely rent the car at the house. A nice spacious car Toyota 4 runner for the same money for which you can otherwise rent a small Kia Picanto (or something similar).

In the beginning of July we had our holiday at the driftaway. With the car we explored almost the whole island. George (property manager) gave us a lot of tips. We had a nice holiday at the driftaway. After a day at the beach or exploring the island you can jump in the swinning pool and have a nice BBQ at the house. We will definitely recommend this holiday villa to other guests.

This is our fourth visit at The Driftaway and each time we find new things that the owners have come up with to make us feel comfortable. The huge sun lounger is very comfortable and as I have heard from the hosts it is handmade! Last year the hosts surprised us with a new brick-built barbecue and this year we had a great opportunity to relax in the shade with the sun loungers due to this year's renovation. This is a really great idea! And the new caretakers are very cute and helpful and really keep the house in great shape!
We decided to come back this year for a second time!

Cottage has everything you need, lovely your own living space in a location where you can easily drive everywhere. Rented a car at Jet Huisje ! Some old beast but great car, nice and big and worked fine! Enjoyed the holiday and will definitely come back again! Only downside was that the beds were very hard and the pillows very flat, possible that 2 different pillows can come ?
At this time, another house was built in the extension of the garden, so that the view is different, no problems with the workmen, but privacy is a bit less, unless there is still a fence or plants welded in between.
