Cozy cottage. Fully equipped. Kitchen: nothing is missing. (No microwave, but didn't miss either). Not a Senseo but a coffee filter machine. Squirrels, woodpeckers, gingerbread, deer - just bird sounds: complete peace. If I have to mention something that was less: the outdoor chairs are a bit rickety. Beds are fine. Shower excellent. Nice villages nearby. Excellent walking and biking area. Recommended!!

'The Winter King' is fantastically situated, in the middle of the forest in a small park. It is very quiet, full of birds and sometimes one or two squirrels.
The house has everything you need on holiday. Nice that there are 3 bedrooms, ideal with children.
We don't often go back to the same holiday home twice, this was our third visit. Others have also been to De Winterkoning on our advice.
From the park you can go in all directions for walking, cycling. Lots of wildlife to spot.

The cottage is in a fantastic spot with lots of privacy, sun and shade. It is fully equipped, good kitchen, shower and toilet. The bed slept fine.
But the house could use a lick of paint on the inside.

Cottage is simple and complete. Good shower and kitchen facilities. Lots of wildlife in the area. Be careful with speed at dusk and at night on the road. They really just cross the road.
