Casa Cape Diem is a fine house! We have been with a family of 6 people in this house for a week. Inside is a spacious living room and a separate kitchen. In addition, it has two excellent bathrooms. Outside there is a nice lounge set, and also 4 sunbeds by the pool.
The beach that borders the park is super beautiful! In addition, the park has a super nice swimming pool with a view of the sea. In short, we had a very nice week!

Beautiful Villa, far superior to others we have stayed in at the same resort. Well equipped, very clean and you can see the owners take pride in how they decorated and added the personal touches which made Casa Carpe Diem feel like a home away from home. The villa was extremely well situated for beach, pools and restaurants. A serene and peaceful location. Hein was extremely helpful and answered any and all questions promptly and fully. Communication was excellent and there was also plenty of information provided in the villa itself on restaurants, attractions in area etc. I can’t recommend highly enough and we hope to return again soon.

Casa Carpe Diem is a lovely villa. The house is fully equipped. The kitchen is complete and has a great sitting area as a lounge area outside. Upstairs a fantastic balcony where you can see and hear the sea. Pool not used because it is just too cold in December. However, our 6 year old tried it and jumped in: brr too cold! The sea, on the other hand, was still wonderful swimming (if you got through the first cold of course). A beach around the corner. The Alvor boardwalk also starts around the corner (for the runners: 7 km of wooden footpath through the dunes). So many beaches that you can go somewhere different every day (by the way, a car is recommended!) a lot of shells can be found at Cavoeiro Praia. If you can, you can definitely visit the West Coast: Aljezur is only a 40-minute drive away.

Neat house located in a park. Near the beach of Alvor, which is clean, friendly and beautiful. House is fully equipped, kitchen has a more than complete interior. Pool was a bit cold in this October week. In the summer months, it will undoubtedly be a wonderful way to cool off with outside temperatures of > 35 degrees. Car is convenient to visit e.g. Lagos and Sagres. Walking along and on the rocks along the coast is also wonderful. On the hill near the park is a larger swimming pool with rental chairs which have a beautiful view of the sea. We had a wonderful week despite a few days more clouds. The reviews we read about Carpe Diem are very reliable. For us it was Seize the Day again and many thanks for the hospitality.

Al drie jaar op rij een toplocatie. Een hele maand zijn we er geweest dit jaar. De rust in mei is heerlijker en wandelingen naar Alvor in de ochtend een fantastische start van de dag. Dit jaar was het iets kouder in mei dan vorige jaren, maar het huis heeft veel comfort. De eigenaren Hein en Nancy doen er alles aan om het gasten naar de zin te maken. Het huis ziet er tip top uit en is een van de best verzorgde huizen van het park Prainha!

Wij verbleven in maart 11 dagen in het appartement van Hein en Nancy. De vakantie begon echter al ver daarvoor met de hulp van Hein, hij regelde alles voor ons. Kinderstoel, -bedje, afscherming rond het zwembad, huurauto en adv...

Wij verbleven in maart 11 dagen in het appartement van Hein en Nancy. De vakantie begon echter al ver daarvoor met de hulp van Hein, hij regelde alles voor ons. Kinderstoel, -bedje, afscherming rond het zwembad, huurauto en advies hoe te rijden. Zeer gastvrij. Direct bij aankomst voelden we ons thuis in het goed uitgeruste appartement. Op 5 minuten lopen zit je op één van de mooiste stranden die de Algarve te bieden heeft. Zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan. Al met al een topverblijf!
